What have you done to your MSP today?

stick with t-bolt clamps, they are WAY better and will save you LOADS of headaches later on...also, if you plan on doing it with a little bit of planning (rather than just fab something up that simply works and go) then go to a metal shop or a fabrication shop and have the pipes bead-edge rolled and/or welded together to minimize the amount of couplers needed

Yeah, I'm probably going to hit up metallic36 for her hot pipe kit, and then get it welded up at a later date... I've got a turbolife cold pipe so I'm hoping I can sneak the cold pipe through with just a single 90* adapter... also considering relocating the MAF to make a little more flexability in... encouraging the fit.

Im really wanting to run a HKS BOV but i dont want to butcher my mam cold pipe. im already going to have to cut it for the 505zoom intake manifold. i wish i didnt have to do that. :(

I installed my SLS 2.5" midpipe and Turbolife FMIC this weekend. The car has finally woke up! Also, the TurboXs RFL bov is mean sounding! Will hopefully be able to throw it up on the dyno in the next month or so and see what she puts down at 8psi.

Yesterday I used some bug/tar remover to get rid of some greasy crap that was on my drivers side behind the front wheel. Also used some goo gone to get rid of the glue residue left behind from some autocross stickers. I'll be giving her a wash tomorrow, wax possibly this weekend, and I'll attack the drivers door rust as well with some sanding, Naval Jelly, then prime and paint.

Got all my stuff today. BOV, flange, Vacumm block, . Just need to wait for my pipes and smic to come in and its go time!

bought RX-8 wheels yesterday and bought NEXEN tires today for my car that has been at the body shop for almost a month.... anyone use these?

Nice. I got the same ones but I got them for 50 a pop. That's what you get when you're related to someone in the tire biz. Just wanted to see if my uncle was really giving me a deal was all. I like these tires too. Some people gave me crap for them but I haven't had an issue. Plus, I've been getting them rotated properly every 5K miles and the wear is great.

damn well i just got them cause I needed new tires today to take to the bodyshop so i can get my car back already! i have heard good things about these.

btw ihy you got a sick ass deal.... but also im not paying for these. insurance is hehe

Like I said, my uncle owns a tire shop so I get deals. He isn't always the cheapest guy to use, but he has EXCELLENT service. His guys know their s*** when it comes to tires.

well i was gonna do my exaust mani and arp studs but i relized i left my Vise grips about 2 hours away at my friend with the P5 house. o well just a reason to buy a new tool.lol

To get the EGR tube loose. it was a PITA on my friends P5. also gonna pick up some Antifreeze and pb blaster at the auto store. how much anti freeze is needed to fill an empty MSP radiator? and also another stupid question. what exactly is in the intercooler as far as liquid? or is there any thing in it?

i meant for the manifold job... but thinking a little harder, I hope you're just using it to remove the old studs...

our intercooler is an air to air type... no liquid.

i need help bad. the only thing stopping me from pulling Turbo mani all the way down to where the s-pipe and j-pipe meet are
(1) oil line going into the top of turbo
(2) Bottom 3 studs on turbo mani? how do iu get them off? with what i dont have that thin of a wrench.
(3) the egr tube going into the turbo mani. it is loose but i think it is just free spinning. possibly stripped. what should i do?

any help is appreciated and i need it asap.
