What have you done to your MSP today?

Think i found out my wga is shot. rough and/or erratic idle, bucking when in higher rpms (not even above 4k when in fourth gear) so i am going to get a replacement but not sure what to get. i always see on this thread guys posting about replacing their wga with different ones so feedback would be appreciated. looking at the forge, or the atp. would it even be worth it to get the direct replacement t25 that protegegarage has?
 
And to reply to to the thread " What have i done to my MSP today ?" I fixed my tranny, (broken PAR ring gear), am installing a Corksport J-Pipe, found cracks in my turbo manifold...
 
Going to buy a Serial-Serial cable today so I can see whats going on with the AFC finally. Also probably going to put my SRI and hard pipes back on.

Good replacement if the stock one is broken. But I don't think his problem is the wga. Can't really tell unless he's got a boost gauge. When mine went out I never had any idling problems. Just no control over how high the boost went. I spiked 18 a couple times accidentally. I'm sure it would have gone higher if I hadn't gotten off the throttle. It sure pulled like a mofo when it did that though, wish I had built the motor and unleashed that little T25.

For now yea. The 240 is about to be sold, just have to make delivery. I was going to sell both cars but I decided to keep the MSP for now. It may be up for sale early next year since I'm looking at buying a house and I'll need some of the money for a down payment. Investments > Fancy Cars. I don't stick to that often but when it comes to property I do :)

Indeed they are good sir. Only two good ones left (I ****** up) but I'm probably going to try and get the other two repaired (might not be able to fix them though). Somehow they fit without rubbing, maybe its my monster truck ride height, who knows. They look awesome though, just wish I had coils and some camber to fit them flush. More pictures of them on the car in the Pics section.

Nah, sounds exactly like what I'm going through right now, only difference is I'm throwing P0171.

Knowing what the issue is, I haven't slammed that right pedal, though I'm tempted. Thrown rod isn't worth big fun though.

I have video when I was going up to 19psi when my stocker let go. Indeed it was fun, but you sweat the entire time.
 
Converted my CAI to a SRI for when or if Hannah hits. Checked out the rear of the rear sway bar while it was up on the lift but didnt notice anything loose and the bushings looked fine. Also all nuts appeared to be tight. So... im not sure why I have the "clunk".
 
Where's that expected to make landfall? I might have to make a trip over to Flagler Beach to make sure our boat is still there if it hits Jax. Arg, I need to go sell my 240 not check for hurricane damage :(

Not sure but I'll be damnd if I will be screwing around with that s*** during the rain... They say it might not even hit land in FL but who knows man that s*** is so vague its not even funny. It will hit here someone within this 500 mile radius. lol or at least thats how it comes across to me.


why are you selling the 240 ? i thought you were sellin the msp and keepin the 240

damn I wish I knew he was selling the 240 before i purchased my MSP... i would of picked that s*** up in no time. Its pure sex on wheels!

That was the original plan but I finally came to the realization that I can't have my project be my DD like I would when the Mazda sold. Once the msp sold, the 240 would be facing a lot of down time and I wouldn't have money to buy a car to get me back and forth and build the 240. So I'm selling the 240 and keeping the msp for a bit longer. I'll probably get another 240 in the next year or so though.

Why not just park the 240 for awhile man? Seriously if I knew you where sellign your 240 2 months ago It would be in my driveway right now or down the street in my friends due to speed bumps.
