What have you done to your MSP today?

I think I've worked on every color MSP that exists with the exception of a Sunlight silver. I've had black, spicy (x3), laser blue and yellow in my driveway. Worked on a Titanium at my former shop for a local. I've seen two other titaniums around here, but both had adjacent county tags. There are three spicy MSPs locally. At least three or four I know of. Once sunlight silver. Two laser blues. Countless black ones I've seen. Probably 6 or 7 of them.

At one point, there was another spicy, he was from Chattanooga and went to school at UTK, but I saw it on a 53-foot car hauler heading east one day and haven't seen it since.

sheesh. thats tons of msps... i wonder how many canada got as I dont see them very often at all....

I'm surprised how many black ones I've seen in the area. There was a very nice black mica with only 40k on it and stock other than a turbo timer but got hit by a hardcore hail storm we had in 2012. It was awful. The thing was in great shape, interior and exterior, other than looking like a golf ball.

I also looked at another black one, 743 maybe?, at three different car lots over a years time and the last two times, the front bumper cover was missing, core support was bent and the headlight tabs were broken, but it wasn't that bad. Had a Perrin or another bolt-on FMIC setup. Got as low as $1700. Then it ends up in the hands of some local kid last summer with a new front bumper and a recently replaced engine because we all know what happened. I have mine listed for $4,000 at the time, forged and other mods mind you, and he lists it for $6,000 with 150k on the clock, cracked windshield, check engine light, pillar pod with no gauges, a muffler welded onto the factory axle-back piping and plati-dipped Koniq Kolors. LOLOLOLOLOL. He kept dropping the price until I saw it down to $2700. Wish I'd have bought it from the used car lot for $1700. I actually found out who the previous owner is. And she's a hot chick. Who sold it for a Z. And just traded it in on a brand new WRX. And lives like a mile from me. And wants my D.

Purchased an SS-FTC today. Now the question is to remove the AFC in my first MSP, install the FTC and put the AFC in my new MSP, or just skip all the trouble and put the FTC in my new stock tune car with far less miles. Probably going to put the FTC in the new car then get a boost controller for it. Then it will have close to all the mods my first MSP has minus the solid motor mounts.

man i miss my white harts... they sure stick out dont they lol.

I guess im just gonna have to buy some. ill never see them again. i guess this time ill go through the extra effort to insure that kinda s***.. we may sell our oem wheels for like $500 on this forum, but getting a set of replacment wheels and tires where i live is a pretty big deal. reasonable tires on new rims was gonna cost me like $1400.. even if i buy used rims and new tires im gonna be in for $800-$1000.. at that point i might as well just get the enkeis i wanted.. but they just wouldnt be the same as the factory wheels.
there is just somthing special about the factory wheels.

Outwardly id like to keep my speed oem looking. it will be dropped more so than it is now on coilovers, but i didn't want it to OUTWARDLY look aftermarket. i guess now unless i get really lucky its unavoidable =(

I might be willing to part with mine, but shipping out to BC from NY is going to cost a pretty penny.

So now that I've got my gauges installed and assuming any boost/vac leaks are cleared, here's the behavior I'm seeing.
At idle I see -20 vacuum, 14.7 AFR.
Full throttle I see 10.5psi spike, settle to around 8.5psi. AFR will go to 9 while at full throttle.

Throttle goes closed and I'm coasting in neutral. Vacuum goes to -24. AFR goes from 14.7ish to 10ish, then drops to 19ish while coasting.
Why does it jump to the rich condition?

I'd only pay shipping on perfect wheels. But ahipping to seawings in blaine washington would ve cheap domestic. Depends a lot on price of wheels and condition.

As I understand it that is our car. Pig rich at wot.

Where are the maps for the FTC? Do I have to modify the AFC maps to work?

I don't believe there are any. Preferio was looking a while back and couldn't find any either. I think he was going to get one from someone as a baseline and then modify it to his liking. Shoot him a message, he might have one he could send you. I'm not sure if he has already started to mess with the timing tables or not.

I don't know what good it would do me, he is running over 20psi and 440 injectors. I plan to keep the timing tables stock considering it can only pull timing.
