What have you done to your MSP today?

Finally found out why my coolant overflow has been bubbling after I shut the car off since late summer or so, my damn Mishimoto radiator is leaking at the welds along the top tank! It has a lifetime warranty so I'm hoping it is a manufacturer defect and they honor it.

That sucks.

Here's what I've done so far.... Replaced spark plugs, coilpacks and once here the NGK wires. Installed AEM digital boost and Uego gauges. Changed oil to VR1 syntethic 10w-30 and tranny fluid to 75-90 royal purple. Replaced coolant hoses with Samco counterpaarts and replaced the coolant elbow where the turbo gets coolant from. Replaced stock smic with an ETS counterpart and installed hard intercooler piping along with a SLS midpipe. Replaced all vacuum hoses related to the wastegste and BPV.

I have my stock bumper cover sitting in the garage taking up space and i'm considering cleaning it up and getting some fog deletes or fog lights for it and rocking it without the lip for a different look on my MSP.

Need a little explanation as to what this means... Also what would I be looking at to tune the car when time comes... While I was checking an engine code, I browsed to live data and found this:

STFT B1 S1 - 0.0
STFT B1 s2 - 99.2

LTFT B1 - -1.6

They'll honor it, no questioins asked. Just send them a picture of it and gove them the serial number and you'll be set!!!

What could cause boost to be lost at high RPM (5,000+)?

I smoked the system which revealed a small leak that has since been fixed. Intercooler and piping has been pressure tested with no leaks found.

Finished the MSP this morning. Came into work at 630 and finished the small stuff. All I have to do now is reinstall my gauges and retune and I'll be good to go.

Taking MSP 1 to my parents garage today and will be taking apart most of her and transporting the unicorn motor into MSP 2. Then let the fun begin .

What do you plan on doing with your old one if they just send you a replacement? Would you mind sending me some of the pics where the damage is?

I have a local MSP buddy but it won't fit his car so if you want it you can pretty much have it for shipping cost (unless Mishi wants it back). It is leaking along the weld for the top tank, right below the top rad hose.

It's a craftsman, what did you ask for? Any explanation still on what those readings mean

The numbers don't really tell much unless they are put in context. If you have a P0171 you have a vac leak and the fuel trims will be maxed out trying to compensate for the lean condition caused by the leak. STFT is short term fuel trims and LTFT is long term fuel trims, they are used by the ECU.

I figured the abbreviations out, and only code I have is a p0090 code... I just wondered why the numbers are so high on B1 S2 stft and so low on ltft

You probably have a vac leak, do you have a breather for the VC hose or is it hooked to the intake?
