AN16 fittings for the coolant and the AN16 braided lines- all kinds of ppl sell online, the VC are AN6 fittings and lines.

but doesnt those fitting have to be welded onto the rad for it to work? at least thats whats on cross over auto last i checked those out.

fittings have to be welded to the rad in 2 places, the water neck and thermostate neck also have to be welded. Not to mention the fittings are 30+ each to get good ones plus the -16hose is not cheap by the foot to buy. I mean they look great but who wants $400 rad hoses in a daily driver.

How do you like those plugs?

For me the 4291's have been great over the years. After the OEM plugs and 1 replacement set I have used nothing but these V Power plugs. Each time I have taken them out I've never seen signs of problems. I change them more frequently but so what as you can get all 4 for $8.95 from Advanced.

I pulled the valve cover and upper timing cover off to find my coolant leak...

looks good, I'm a little jealous I never got it on my car.

Just slightly peeved that the hardware they included wasn't stainless. I guess I'll deal with that when it rusts in two winters. The rear bolts should also have been M10 instead of M8, but I'm just nitpicking.

Installed another used T25 and stiffer WG. Runs amazing. On to fixing some other things before next autoX.
