What have you done to your MSP today?

According to AllData
Oil pan - 14-18 ft/lbs
Flywheel - 71-75 ft/lbs
Pressure Plate - 14-19 ft/lbs

The bell housing bolts have several different torque specs depending on location.

All Correct with the Factory Manual.

bolting up the trans up make sure everything is tight, and recheck after 1k miles to make sure nothing loosened on ya.

my msp is getting painted at this moment, finally! i hated driving it in primer, i felt like those kids that get body kits and don't have enought money to paint them

well i mmay have narrowed my issue down this am.

i was driving along and went to get on it around a truck on the interstate, when my car suddenly jolted real bad, almost like a bad wga(its still good), and i looked at my wideband in time enough to see it went super lean for that second and i had a check engine light come on and it flashes at me. it constantly flashes. im gonna have the code read later after work. but until then, any ideas?

flashing CEL is a p0300...random multiple misfire. The flashing signifies enough misfire to do damage to a cat (i know you dont have one). How old are your plugs? Are they gapped correctly? how many miles on the coils?

as far as I know, our cars whether it is an MSP or not, the front ends are practically the same right? So, it doesn't matter if it's an MSP, MP5, MP3, or whatever it may be, it is more than likely the same type of fender liner in all of them. It really gets old hearing the whole "your car isn't an MSP" argument. The way I see it, if you boosted a 2.0 protege, it's close enough because overall, they are all the same, just a protege. What is the MSP? A regular protege with a turbo kit thrown on it, some light suspension mods, paint job, new bumper and side skirts, rims, and some crappy tuning.

Ayeeeeeee, someone here actually gets it! Props to you sir, I know people on here that have their nose so high in the air cause their protege has a factory turbo and sparkly paint. Its still a protege people (2thumbs)

Hey I'm not 100% on this yet but I may be getting a new turbo manifold soon so I am curious if anybody is interested in my Version 1 steedspeed. I'll only talk prices in PM but just wanted to test the waters...pics can be found in my build thread.

wrapped intercooler pipes and was able to slide a sheet of heat barrier mat in between manifold and heat shield.

I finally get my car back from the body shop today. Going to go get it in about 15 minutes. glad to get it back, now to start tuning it. But first, I have to put on my new registration sticker for my windshield since it was replaced, gotta get a new state inspection done and new DoD decals for my windshield for Ft. Hood. Gotta dump my CEL before I go in for the inspection though..lol WISH ME LUCK!!!!
