floored the grand am and almost cried, miss the turbo.
According to AllData
Oil pan - 14-18 ft/lbs
Flywheel - 71-75 ft/lbs
Pressure Plate - 14-19 ft/lbs
The bell housing bolts have several different torque specs depending on location.
well i mmay have narrowed my issue down this am.
i was driving along and went to get on it around a truck on the interstate, when my car suddenly jolted real bad, almost like a bad wga(its still good), and i looked at my wideband in time enough to see it went super lean for that second and i had a check engine light come on and it flashes at me. it constantly flashes. im gonna have the code read later after work. but until then, any ideas?
as far as I know, our cars whether it is an MSP or not, the front ends are practically the same right? So, it doesn't matter if it's an MSP, MP5, MP3, or whatever it may be, it is more than likely the same type of fender liner in all of them. It really gets old hearing the whole "your car isn't an MSP" argument. The way I see it, if you boosted a 2.0 protege, it's close enough because overall, they are all the same, just a protege. What is the MSP? A regular protege with a turbo kit thrown on it, some light suspension mods, paint job, new bumper and side skirts, rims, and some crappy tuning.
I think I want to try to buy a Perrin/Turbolife fmic....
i love my turbolife. you should def. do it
and my coils just went bad the other day. so i borrowed and extra set my buddy had. they could be bad too. any idea on how to ccheck them?

Ayeeeeeee, someone here actually gets it! Props to you sir, I know people on here that have their nose so high in the air cause their protege has a factory turbo and sparkly paint. Its still a protege people (2thumbs)
