What have you done to your MSP today?

washed it and cleaned out the inside ..

Saturday I changed the tranny fluid ... valvoline synthetic and lucas

lets see - I broke (well, it broke by itself) the reverse lockout, and now my transmission makes a weird noise

and I bought a WGA to replace my current one!

so all in all coming up I have to

Change the oil/filter.
Flush/fill coolant (I am running a little low).
Replace Sparkplugs.
Replace WGA.
Seafoam the engine.

then in the coming couple of months I want to - replace charcoal canister, buy a new intake, timing belt/water pump, replace alarm. TIRES (and hopefully, wheels). Then eventually replace my windshield due to a stray rock... lol

Im making a list already and not having fun with it (nervous). Itd be nice if car stuff didnt cost money :p

well i havent done it today, but hopefully will soon. other than gauge rings, HID's and swapping tail lights i havent done anything looks wise for my car. so now im pretty set on getting a set of WedsSport SA-90's in bronze for my car. this is a pic of them photoshopped onto my car (ps courtesy of boricua86) opinions?

if i got the wheels id also get a set of Rays Engineering lug nuts. but i cant decide if i want to stand out with the red, or stay subtle with black.

you know i think those rims are like hot sex on your car justin. and either red or black would look sick for the lug nuts.

ps: ive got $50 waiting for joo....

oh yea -- and B1GHAM or anyone who has done this, where do you pour the seafoam? Ive heard through the break booster, but ive also heard that it has a one-way valve in it and so that will not actually work. who's done this?

oh yea again: I replaced exhaust gaskets, but it's still leaky/vibraty somewhere grrr. ive got one last piece to get for my p5 headlight conversion. got some seafoam. filled with gas. found out my bov leaks like crazy even at idle. anddd, still can't figure out why water drips on my feet when it rains... sometimes i don't know why i keep this car. though i really do love it. /hate. ah ****.

pull the hose off the pcv so that u have the large hose splitting and going to the 2 sections on the mani. stick a funnel in the one hose, and pour it in there.

Weren't a few people saying the water problem was a cracked weld on the channeling? I think somebody said if you pull up the carpet on the interior and look up, you can spot the crack, then put some sealant or something in there to plug it up.

what's wrong with your canister?

the charcoal canister is soaked with fuel, so the thing fills with gas and doesnt do its job.... what it does is stop me from pumping gas in my car and gives me false CEL evap codes.

so yeah, its highly annoying trying to fill my car with gas past half a tank.

I wouldnt replace it if I didnt have to.

Don't the seafoam instructions stipulate that you should only do that if that reaches ALL cylinders? It was my understanding that doing that would only reach cylinders 1 & 4.

i dunno, i did what others did, seemed to work fine for me. only other choice then is to use the brake booster post check valve.

I cant really answer that with certainty since i cant see whats goin on in there. Brake Booster would definatly put it in the middle of the mani.

Last night got a ticket for going 85 in a 65. But the Highway Patrol only put down 80.

This morning, put the JoeP MBC I got last night and set it to 10psi and it pulls really nice now.
