What have you done to your MS3 today?

Definitely go with the HP+ then! I have them on my Miata which gets tracked 4-6 times per year and they work fantastically. They dust like crazy and just recently mine have gotten really noisy, but that comes with the territory.

yeah, a lot of the reviews mention the dust and noise. but if they do what i need them to do then i'll deal with it...

Another one you might want to consider is the Axxis ULT. They are a little tamer and will still hold up to track use. They are a bit cheaper than HP+ too.

Just means they're working!

I am going to need tires badly come June. OMG, they're down to 2/32. And I definitely have some negative camber going on since the drop. :-\ Anyone REALLY needed the camber arms for alignment?

I took the OEM tires on my MS3 down to 2/32 as well before I replaced them :D They were scary in the rain near the end!

The Continentals I have are pretty good still in the rain. Though, I broke them loose in 4th gear a couple nights ago in the wet. That was kind scary. I keep looking at the Nitto 555's. There's really no siping. :-\ I don't know how they're going to be in the rain. Anyone have any experience with them?

Tire Rack ratings on them in the rain seem to be good.. I've been looking at them too, my current ones (Hankook Ventus V12 Evo) are good but the sidewalls seem squishy to me. So I thought I'd try out the Nitto 555 or maybe the Conti DW. I'd like to eliminate some of the tire noise so I may go for the Nitto.. but I do like the included road hazard from Conti direct - nails seem to find me :(

The HT will control idle speed? If so, That would be reason enough for me to get one. Then I could turn off the 'massage' feature of this car.

i just installed the hypertech tune as well. idle adjust is nice, but hot damn! the hypertech tune is great. the car just feels so much more solid and eager now. well worth it.

Damn, get out from under that rock already!

Jk....I found out about it this week too. And I guess if you never registered and checked the "yes" box next to getting emails about updates, you would never know about it. Unless you trolled around on forums like I do

I wasn't sure about doing it at first because I have no aftermarket mounts, but I will say it does idle more smoothly after only adding 100rpms on mine. I think someone else has done +50 and I've seen some +200s as well

So I guess props to all the ht users that bombarded chris with adding an idle adjustment feature to the HT. Anyone planning on asking for anything else from it? I could update that thing for the rest of the car's life...lawl

Maybe, we should try for a speedo cal for wheel and/or tire changes!

or a feature to permanently clear the cel when you do an egr blockoff... maybe there wouldn't be as much demand for that..

i am crawling around pulling drivers axle, and everything off for refurbish or replace etc. fed ex just dropped of the wrong redline trans fluid to me. dammit. another setback with project idiot.

thanks. i have a bad ball joint too, so i am going to drop the whole lower arm. That leaves me time to get the right stuff to garage. Last time i got it from JSC. but they did not have paypal so i got it from saferacer because iw as in a hurry on my lunch break last wednesday.
any suggestions on drivers side ball joint?
thanks buddy. seems i need all the help i can get lately : )

probably be a Mazda/fomoco/volvo part. oem is often the best part. i am looking to beef the front end up and lighten if the opportunity presents. i can see sometime in the future maybe getting a local fabricators to help me get a lower arm instead of the stamped steel unit. But i just need just get up and running again for now. the track finally opened after all the rain and cruise night are delayed for two more weeks up here. Domino you prbably have the same going on over in the 'cuse.
I did just have a long look at how my Ksport coilers will mount up. i was worried about the sway bar tie in. It's there. cool. i will have to come up with something for the brake lines as they are bracketed to the shock also. probably go the cheapo tie wraps at first. looks like i can bolt up the pillow balled camber plates too but not get much use from them now. but i can draw the negative camber i want in with the Whiteline strut brace now so thats cool too. i think setting the height to where the Cobb springs settled will be the trick as the front worked well.

325 mile day-trip. One-way mileage: 28.9. That's the best in a while. Gritted my teeth and set the cruise on 75. The return was more like 80 mph, so that mileage will likely not be as good. Oh, well.
