What have you done to your MS3 today?

Back on the H&R coilovers this past week, never been this low on the front before:

I could've used one of those gaskets about 1 month ago when I had the intake manifold torn apart...

ill be putting one on in the near future along with an egr blockoff plate to go along with my catch can.

almost at 25k and i want to clean the intake valves, figure ill do it when i do my fmic install since the car will be in pieces anyway

Installed this heavy ass shifter knob, feels good when shifting now :) Only problem is I cant get the damn shift pattern to face forward. I might end up wrapping the knob in a matte black so it wont matter I guess...

Installed my Cobb SRI as well....

man, its a hell of a lot tighter in the engine bay of the MS3. The MS6 had so much more room without that stupid fuse box and battery box cover. Tomorrow I plan on installing my SSP, ETS TMIC, boost gauge, and my Cobb TIP should be here later this week! Pretty excited......

charlessss, looking good! would love to see a profile shot...

also, what kind of eyelids are those?

Thanks mann, Ill try and get a shot later this week, it just started to rain here in SAC. I tried to get a Rake look going with the rear a little higher than the front. The eyelids are from Partplaza, in my personal experience they are a lot of trouble to keep on.

I have that same exact knob. It is a PAIN IN THE BUTT to get the engraving to face the correct way.. but it can be done. Just keep messing with the inner threaded piece and you'll get it. =D

Looks great!

I honestly think im just going to get some vinyl wrap and cover it up with matte black. I do love the weight though......nice and solid!

The wheels I ordered on Friday were out of stock, so thanks to the help of Lara (again), I decided on a different set of wheels, and I just paid for them about 2 minutes ago. They have slightly better fitment (18x8.5" +45, and I received my 5mm hubcentric spacers this week, so they will be sitting at +40). Should be pretty damn close to flush :)

nice... those are the same specs as my axis halos. I run them with 225s and no spacers. what size tires you getting?

I believe I am going with bf goodrich kdw 2's in 215/40/18. They run a little wider, and I found pics of them on a 18x8.5", and the stretch is perfect. Doesn't look VW-ish and doesn't look tacky, just a nice smooth transition.

oh, and I went and bought a pile of car cleaning supplies! We just moved in our first home back in November, and coming from my parents house after I graduated college, they had no way of cleaning cars at their house, so I had to go through drive throughs if I wanted to clean the car. So we went and bought a slew of cleaning supplies, and I also bought a 100ft water hose with a crank/wench box with a 3 foot extender arm sprayer with 7 pressure settings. needless to say, the speed will be staying clean from now on!!!!

Exactly! I had it right on my second attempt and decided to fine tune it. I had to adjust 5 times, before the right position appeared again!

Purchased and installed a set of OEM EUDM red tail lights on my MS3.

I only have a few crappy garage pictures from last night.. I'll try to get better ones today after work before it gets dark:
