Did you put it on wet or dry?
If you are getting pulling on the seams and corners you are probably stretching the vinyl to much. That's what I have run into in the past anyway. If you stretch it too much, after a day or so it starts to pull back. It's always better IMHO if you can take the parts off to wrap. That way you can use more material and wrap around the back side to help smooth out the edges and corners. You obviously can not do that in this case so I'm betting it will be somewhat of a challenge to get them perfect.

My only issue with paint is that it's permanent.(lol) I like the idea of being able to easily change it back if I feel like it.

PCspeed3: Looks good. Did you have any of the issues I described above? Just curious as I have never done a full roof. Just lots of headlights, taillights, door handles, stripes, etc. on other vehicles.

with vinyl you can never get it perfect...and i want it to be perfect...and if i could of took the roof off i would have...lol...if anyone does this i suggest pulling the roof gutter rails out...

i really like the look thats why i don't mind painting it...and with paint it'll give me the depth i am looking for...

MT-90 won't help the cold 2nd gear shift. I'm switching to a Ford synthetic XT-M5-QS. I have read reviews that this performs better in our cars and helps with the cold 2nd gear shift. Search and read on this before going mt-90. I have been using mt-90 for a while now and it is an improvement once the car wrams up but not by much. I'm going to change to the Ford fluid in the fall before it gets cold.

I don't really have problems with my first to second shift, never really have. I think in the 30000 miles I have put on the car I have had 3 or 4 bad 2nd gear shifts. Each time was me not pulling the shifter all the way back as fast as I let off of the clutch, and after the first time I noticed if you don't lift all the way the shift to second is a lil smoother but that is just day to day driving.
edit: I was referring to lifting the gas pedal, I don't feather the clutch too often unless in first..

lucky, i feel like i have to break 2nd to get it in at a high RPM, if i dont slam it dosent stay in, even with STS, bushings, and motor mounts all the way around. Its been like that since i bought it, but i did buy used so thats was my mistake

Took of the "mazdaspeed3" logo on the trunk. Took forever to get all the tape off.

Also shined up my exhaust tip real nice. Don't know if this has been mentioned on here, but "brasso", it's a all-metal polish basically, 3 or 4 bucks at any home store (home depot, lowes). Just dab it on and smooth it around the the whole tip, let it sit. And I also use a pot scrubber, copper or steel, doesn't matter, and scrub that sucker down til all the black soot is gone. Don't worry about scratching, the metal in those things isn't hard enough. Then just wipe off the brasso with a paper towel. works WONDERS!!

washed, clay bar'd and carnauba waxed on Sunday.... but then I drove it to work and I have a buncha bug strikes on the hood now

(squinty)

traded the car in for a 6-spd 2006 GTO...

(inout) nah i just drove it to get some groceries (surprise! (silly))

Took off the side moldings. Not sure if I like it better without them, but it definitely makes the car look more sleek.
