What have you done to your MS3 today?

I installed a LOKAKECH oil catch can and low and behold there is no more smoke coming from my exhaust!!!(headbang) then my neighbor came out complaining that my car is too loud lol. and it was just idling

How was the install?

looking at the how to post about it makes it look harder than it is. once i got under the car and saw the pcv hose for myself it was simple. Ill post some pics showing where I mounted it. if you have big gorilla hands youll have a hard time though. and usually my car smokes like cheech and chong at idol, but once i installed the can i turned the car on...nothing. drove it around the block, parked it, and let it sit for 20 min running, and not one puff.

this guy is like 65,retired, lives alone, watches tv allllll day, and uses my car as an excuse to get out of the house. next time ill do a nice smokey burnout at his front door...at least then he will have a legit reason to turn off matlock and come b**** at me.

The baseline

I timed twelve 30-70 runs in 3rd gear in order to establish a baseline in case I decide to install my MSCAI.

Very scientific. What kinds of #s were you able to hit. The 3speed loves the roll ons. i like the 65 to 100 and the 80 to one twenties best. no tire spin, unless its wet of course. I had a newer gto go after me i was lazing along at about seventy in sixth and went around him. i see he thinks we are racing and here he comes. so i give her a little gas and just let my baby do the torque thing, you guys know the sound. well at 140 i still had five lengths on him and i never downshifted and never floored
it. I let him pass me and was ready to wave over hey that was fun but he would not look over. I felt bad for him. He had the 350 hp ls1 version it seems. But officer its just a four cylinder!

Ps that is still moving along purty good. I think you will get a liitle more up top with the intake. good luck and stay safe of course. Third at twenty five mph is about, what, about 3000 rpm? or less? And what intake are you getting do you think? I figured since you mentioned baseline you are going to install some power adders. Did i understand correctly?

whats with the V8 guys today??? i had a new model red gt stang with i believe just exhaust that sounded sweet pull up next to me so i humored myself to see the outcome. Low and behold 3rd gear and one backfire later he was in my rear view taking the first exit he could find lol. all blow and no go i guess.(jerkit)

try a GT500 and you might be humbled. you will recognize the whine of the supercharger. The base GT is not a car we should bother with. Some of the new vettes are pretty damn fast too. I have run a Gallardo recently but forgot to to put my window down to listen to the beautiful song they have. He backed off but that is ok. Just to see a car like that in motion is a thing of beauty. The guys that want to run are usually guys or girls that hope. The ones that lay low are the ones to watch out for because they know what they have. Like me hahahah

I just did the inside of the car with the blue and the license plate with the white ones. I have my fogs with yellow bulbs and at night it looks amazing. I think blue would have been cool I'm just not sure where you could buy them from.

Third at 25 is @2500 rpm. I have a MSCAI and an AEM air straightener sitting in the basement. My only other mod may be an AP with a custom tune.

Just installed my CP-E Nano this afternoon... very happy with it. A lot harder to leave the gas pedal alone now. Also removed the "3" from the "mazdaspeed 3" badge on the hatch.

Drove on the freeway today. A soccer mom, a couple of pickup trucks drivers and some junk cars drove pass me like in a rush. I was like wtf. Then I notice that people drive like that because I had my radar detecter out and connected. I have it mounted on the dash where people can easily see it, but it's the best place to put at since mines gps enable. But yeah people react to my radar detecter. It's like a checker flag, everybody GO!! lol

well should I start off with, I picked up my red beast a year ago and haven't done squad to it, why bother? Ok I got black rims since then but thats cuzz I'm fed up with the dust on front wheels. lol The car is fcuking quick straight out of the box! I seriously don't understand why by a fast car only to spend more dough to make it even faster?
