Painted my calipers and while I had the wheels off, rotated the tires.

Gave the car her first oil change @ 1,872 miles. Old oil was still a nice, clear amber color, but out it went to make room for some Penn Plat 5w30. :D

BTW, considering the spin-off filter kit from PG. Cartridge type just adds useless steps to what is a normal oil change.

I have one coming, but I was under her (it?) seeing what would be involved, and I'm a bit intimidated. Apparently the oil cooler is on top of the stock filter holder. There is a hose running to it. Is that hose part of the cooling system -- that is, it has coolant in it? If that's the case, what's going to keep the coolant from running out when I take the cooler off the mount?

Duh, 'cause coolant doesn't mix with the oil! At least it shouldn't(hand)

New Cobb RSB. Only took about 45 min., including putting away all the tools and rolling up the air hose. "Cave man easy", as they say. Definite improvement in an already great-handling car. My favorite s-curves are even more fun now. Can't wait for my favorite sweeper off the interstate! It'll have to wait, though.
