What have you done to your MS3 today?

Dropped my car off to the tuner guy to install my Cobb springs and the Hotchkis front bar. Maybe a little attention to the wastegate. I cannot hardly wait till tomorrow. Man am I gonna use a lotta gas Sunday driving with my suspension bits installed and at the ready. These parts have been sitting here for months. I hope to have a post tomorrow also.

Installed some speakers:

Amazing upgrade from the horrible stockers on the sport model.

I've been planning on the same thing. Did you disconnect the stock tweets in the door? I was wondering if the impedance of running these in line with aftermarket coaxials would be too low for the stock head unit.

I didn't disconnect the tweeters. Haven't had any problems yet. Should I disconnect them?

I don't know. I've been trying to figure this out. Does the stock speaker you took out have the impedance stamped on the back anywhere? If its 4 ohms like the coax you put in, than it will be fine. If the stock speaker is more than 4 (likely 8 or 16) then the coax is now putting more load on the head units internal amp.

on the stock speak...is that an impression on the surround?...like something on the door panel is pressing against?...

There is a ring surrounding the speaker on the door panel itself, this is causing the impression, and likely also killing the sound quality of the aftermarket speaker as well. Do yourself a favor, remove the door panel and use a dremel tool to grind down the offending material so the fit is correct.

... and waited for the ups truck some more. They deliver up till like 500 oclock right!?
They deliver 'til the truck is empty. Taking stuff back to the terminal is frowned upon. Not uncommon around here to see UPS out after dark.
