Drove it to work, let it sit 9 1/2 hours. Drove it to Costco and then home. D@mn this is exciting stuff!

Cleaned and Rain-x'd the windshield and windows and polished to tailpipe. Then I taught my friend how to change his own oil on a 2003 Audi A4. Really weird place for the oil filter on their 1.8t.
Got a lot Saturday, but the most exciting part was getting the 06-07 STi V-limited front lip to fit on my speed 
Took some modification (cut 2-3 inches off the end, cut a little bit of the mounting tabs and an L-shap into the end caps), a steady hand and two of us to stretch/run screws into it, but I got it fitting about dag on near perfect. Moar pics once I get the car cleaned. SOoooooO happy with this lip.

Well, im either having issues with the speed or my OBD scanner. i went to clear another egr code this morning after i got to work, and my scanner was flashing at me saying individual monitors werent ready yet
in case anyone doesnt know what i mean, I/M status referes to individual monitors in-line with emissions related equipment. under normal circumstances if i were to have my scanner plugged in and started the car up cold most of the monitors should not be fully operational yet. things like the O2 sensors take time to heat up, etc
anyway...i plugged my scanner in after i got to work. its a 20minute drive AFTER i already had the car warming up in my driveway for 5-10minutes. There is no way my car was still in its cold start loop operation (cant remember if you call that closed or open). so, like i said, either my scanner is ****** up or my car is having issues

Car is teh dirtah. I will clean it this weekend and get better pics. Those were quick after walking out of work yesterday.
The lip cost $65 bucks and it was on ebay...v-limited lip for 06-07 sti. Takes quite a bit of modification and tinkering, but I got it to fit near perfect.

700 is absolutely insane. Definitely interested to see how everything reacts to the stresses once the tires hit the pavement.
Couldn't wait anymore so I put the new shoes on Shamu. They are everything I wanted and more. Crappy first picture. More to come in the future.
