What have you done to your MS3 today?

same excuse as the dyno day....drive down, ive been up by you, its actually a nice drive

can always use an extra set of hands as well.

im doing my dp, replacing my mustache, and the damaged IC pipe.
another speed is doing his springs
another an sri/tip
another getting my su testpipe

there will be lots of pb blaster and beer

Nice, mod meet. Actually, this weekend is my GF's bday. I did my mustache not long ago. Taking off that front bumper is the easiest thing I've ever done on the car. lol

And I don't think I've ever seen stock shocks blow quite the same way these do. They're horrendous. My Dad's Avenger still rode close to the same @ 100K that it did with 22k.
I am doing the pro kit around Christmas. Do you suggest I do a shock replacement too? Just rolled over 37k.

Side note: getting my SURE Aeros and Anchors in tomorrow. Installing Aeros, Anchors, and Return!

That's your call. Mine were leaking oil but I don't think I noticed much of a decrease in ride quality. However, they are most certainly going to blow sooner or later. And by the time you're going to install your suspension they may be blown or leaking anyways. To save yourself the headache down the road I probably would.

Pretty much. I think it happened one other time before about the end of this past winter. Both times there were no real problems or symptoms as a result of a bad egr (ie no roughness or performance problems), and they just kinda happened out of the blue

this morning it was while i was cruising around 50mph. The time back in winter happened pretty much after my morning startup. So basically it hasent happened enough for me to be concerned

unless someone else can convince me to be concerned

Ok cool, it has happened to me as well i believe in the winter time but i dont remember if i was crusing or what not. I reset it to and nothing since.

Installed the Aeros and Return form SURE. Looks awesome, Sounds great. Taking it for a spin in a little bit. Installing engine parts in 107 degree heat means getting a little nasty! Well worth it!

Why do people paint plastic engine bay pieces?

Same reason i paint my toenails......to match my finger nails

i personally dont think there is a good "middle" to painting an area like the engine bay. I feel that its either everything or nothing (save fluid caps). Its hard to add just a hint of color when you already have black and silver/gray as the main ones.
