Just installed a new set of Denso Itv-22 plugs gapped at .28 without any kind of AP loaded, and MAN what a difference so much better throttle and engine response, it drives like it should again!!
installed borla xr-1 and injen cold air!!! yummy!!!
Running those plugs without a high boost tune will result in plug fouling a lot faster than normal.
Just something to keep in mind.
Yea that's what I heard, but hey what the hell for the time being its running good and lets just see how long it lasts. so far so good. had a problem with car running hot (moving) and car would loose power but with these babies in so far no more issues.
I had actually done the same thing as you. I tend to drive this car like it's on fire, and I had no fouling issues. It's just something I've heard going around.
Too many guys driving like nannies![]()
Well looks like down the road I will be getting a reflash instead of the AP so I think I'm golden.
installed my rally armor mud flaps and removed rear collars from my BC coilovers, 1 finger gap front and rear now, I can't even get my jack under the sides behind the front tires, LOL. Drives like it is on rails. Also adjusted my progress sway bar and AWR end links, car is clunk free, noise free, and planted like a sumabitch. I am VERY happy. The mud flaps look sick with the mag blue wheels, almost matches now!
found out the tire place that mounted my wheels stripped my security lugnut. now i cant get the wheel off....and i have this nasty metal grind/screech coming from the wheel
Which reflash are you looking at?
The Mazda gods have clearly cursed you.
Pics? I want to see the flaps and how low it is...
How are you liking that CP-e??
How do you semi install a head unit?
