I am already craving another one

I have a CP-E motormount sitting in my garage waiting to be installed, and I am also supposed to get a custom exhaust built from my secret hookup too.

The catback on your car is very good as is. If you want more sound remove one or both the resonators in the catback. A shop will cut them out and weld in straight pipe. For more performance, remove the secondary cat and replace it with straight pipe or buy a test pipe. For more power still replace the down pipe.

CF inserts ehh. pretty cool. Every car i had in the past had a set of winter wheels ad such. this new car came at a time where i haven't bought another set for winter yet...but i don't blame you for storing those wheels up, they're sickk

My buddy of mine is gonna sell his factory 08 TL Type S wheels. Ya think i should get them? I love how they look on the Type S

GOT DAMN that black roof and front grill looks off the hook...you beat me to the punch. I have my grill where the emblem is already blacked, up next was the roof and the lower lip insert, I am very jealous, that looks awesome man!!! All you need now is some wide ass black wheels and you are good to go. How much did the roof run ya if you don't mind me asking??

Right now I'm getting my driverside rear endlink replaced. I noticed it was completely disconnected one day, took a better look at it and it was completely stripped out. Mazda was good enough to cover it under warranty. My suspension is all OEM. And the only mods I have are Ingen CAI and throttle body spacer from PG.

The hubs would need to be bored out, IIRC...

I think the TL uses a ~64 mm hub bore, as opposed to our 67.1 mm bore.

Yesterday, actually, 07 MS3 S, True Red, 50K, Alpine/Boston Acoustics, Mazdaspeed CAI, newer Hancook snow/performance tires. Tomorrow off come the side moldings, make a short throw shift plate as per JBerone (thank you for all the info), and grind off some of the shifter mount bushings. Should have some imporovements without spending a dime. For now.

I washed and waxed it before it gets too cold down here in the south.

Looked at it because I can't drive it... Have to sort out the following engine codes:

P0302 - Cylinder 2 misfire
P0427 - Catalyst under efficiency (I think I killed my cat from misfiring)
P0300 - HO2S Bank 1 Sen 1 Heater Circuit (I think my O2 sensor is dead or unplugged or wires melted to the exhaust pipe)
I also received a hi voltage O2 sensor code

Looks like work for a warmer day

Installed JBarone shifter plate. Will take some getting used to, but I think I'll like it. Shift effort greater, but it's much easier to hit 3rd now.

I got the roof and spoiler added on with paint and everything for 350. The paint is pearl black, you need to see it in person to see the pearl effect. But i'm happy with the price and outcome

Painted my calipers today.

Took off the side moldings today, shortened the shifter mounting hole bushings last night, considering if I want to make or buy short shift plate, I do like the looks with the Mazdaspeed in it.

How did the caliper painting job go, problems, recommendations, expected time to complete? We have some black caliper paint at the shop but have never done the job personally. Not sure if I want to use black or red.

It went well. It's a fairly tedious and time consuming project, but I'm glad I did it. The rear brakes have so many nooks and crannies!
I went with the Mustang Tungsten Grey kit for gunmetal look. As the paint started to thicken up, it was hard not to have the metallic stuff show brush strokes, but I'm probably the only person who will notice; I'm a little OCD when it comes to details like that.

Took her to the dealer yesterday to get the fuel filler cap replace. Second time it got stuck and I broke it. Could not find one at a local auto parts store either. Today washed her and data logged . Still running fine. I did see kr in 5th gear at WOT so I let off , but other numbers looks good. I go WOT rarely so it's okay for now.(rockon)
