What have you done to your Mazda6 today?

Good call Phil, you'll get WAY more light out of those, and the 3000k looks great. Did you get the full kit (ballasts, bulbs, harness, etc.) for $36??? If so, I might be interested in doing mine! I'd have to look at the retrofit how-to, and see if it would be worth the hassle over my Nokyas, but that's a heck of a deal.

Anyone running a turbo timer? I'm trying to figure out if i need a mazda-specific harness or is it a splice job?
Info anyone?

Finally figured out why my driver's side foglight wasn't working.....
I flipped one of the plugs over......straight engineering genius on my end lol.

These cars don't need a turbo timer, just driving slowly to park the car is enough (unless you boost while parking). If you've been pushing it, wait 30 seconds before shutting down.

I won an iPad from a dealership contest today. :D

IMO it's a waste of money. Oil & water cooled turbo = let it sit for 30 sec. after a hard run and you'll be fine.

kahmikahze, those fogs look great dude! How's the light pattern/spread at night? And will they glare oncoming drivers without projectors, or are they OK?

the spread pattern looks more wide than forward, so that's okay. I haven't got to test it out much because I've only driven in-city so far. But work is 12 miles outside the city, and I'll be driving there tomorrow at o-dark-thirty so I'll have a better answer tomorrow.

and i haven't gotten any complaints. my lights aren't as bright as my cell phone pic makes them out to be.

Cool, I'd love to hear your nighttime impressions. I've tested mine without the headlights (once I figured out that you can turn all lights on, then turn headlights off and keep just the fogs on) and they really aren't usable as driving lights, but they put a good amount of yellow light around the front of the car. Good for daytime running lights in snowy weather though. I like the nice sharp cutoff in your pic too.

I have the 6k ddm h11 in my fogs and love them, I took out the little metal reflector things out of the fog housings though. It's bright but casts the light down toward the ground more so haven't had any complaints of blinding anyone. Pattern shoots out wide and low and paired up with the d2s 6k headlight bulbs I'm happy with the outcome.

supposedly if you enter a promo code of winter you can get an extra $70 off...from what i read somewhere else

Indeed. For those w/a warranty its nice. Probably easier to swap back to the stock tmic.
I figured since I'm waaaaay out of that...I'll stick with my plans on a front mount.
