So I opened my garage today, to look at my car. After that, I closed the garage :(. Lol, my decision was to not drive it in the winter, it's staying slammed with the POS all season tires I'm currently rocking.

On the bright side, I found some interesting connections for some dirt cheap leds... One of my parking lights (that I messed up) has been out for a while, I'm getting 2 Tower II replacement bulb knock-offs for $10 cash. I should update the install thread with some more pics

Yesterday took advantage of some nice weather and cleaned out the EGR valve. It was incredibly dirty. Where the EGR tube runs up underneath the throttle body was caked with carbon, and crap. I shoved a small screwdriver inside and it felt like I was compacting the stuff! So then scraped it all out and sprayed some parts cleaner in there. It was a good learning experience, and no more CEL! Ran some seafoam through her also. Runs goooood now.

so, I'm getting quite bad gas mileage in the winter. I'm gonna troubleshoot and see what i can do to fix it.

does anyone know if they sell a oil pan plug for the car?

you'll get worse gas mileage in the winter just from the sheer fact it takes more fuel to warm the car up. also gas stations get a different fuel mixture in the winter that has additives that make gas mileage worse.

got the car back with a new O2 sensor... drove 10km and had the CEL come back on... P2006 again... intake manifold runner stuck closed which is what they adjusted and fixed in the days before the O2 sensor... they're suggesting its my MS-CAI causing the issues

Got down to the coldest it's been this year. 7 degrees this morning. The car always had kind of a miss, but this morning I started it and it revved up then just died.... Tried it again and gave it some gas, and it stayed running but it sounded horrible. I think I need to switch back to the regular temp for plugs.. Right now I have the 22's. But none of them were gapped the same, I attempted to but I think it's pretty inconsistent still.

We had our first snow of the season here in St. Louis.....about 4ish inches. I drove to meet a friend for coffee (which was a blast) and saw something that made my day. An Evo X MR sliding through a turn and totally blasting the curb with both passenger side wheels.....I mean, 20mph to dead stop. Someone thought they had big balls but probably had the stock tires (summers only) still on there.

when i start mine in the mornings i have to let it run for a minute till all the fluids loosen up before i let the clutch out to let it idle or it will stall out
