What have you done to your Mazda6 today?

ms6zoomzoom, that sounds like some build. Do you have a progress thread? I'm very interested, please keep us updated. Last person trying something big was Boosted, who was aiming for 4-500 at the wheels I think... then out of nowhere he buys an is-f lol.

Boosted changed platforms because he really didnt want to mess around anymore with the injector seals. Pretty sure if he got around them he have been making enough power to start breaking drive train parts like diff, trans or pto.
 
Pulled the mazda out the garage. And pulled in the vette. . . **** this ram air install. Something so simple is such a pain in the ass. But I cant wait to see how it does aferwards!! Most people get .4-.5 off their 1/4 mile times with this mod! A stock vette auto with this intake ran a 12.8.

He never came back after dumping the MS6. Not really sure if that actually happened or not.

ms6zoomzoom, man, be careful with that kind of targeted power. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see it, but I don't want to see you go boom either.
 
Oh definitely. My tune will have to be on point because that's the most important thing. I'm glad I live local to my buddy who as far as I know has the highest hp stock block ms6 by far. He's going the distance now shooting for 600-700hp. But he'll be the one helping me out with tuning and everything. He knows what he's doing. 420whp isn't too bad.
 
good luck. how do plan on getting past the DI injectors and the seals blowing out?

Well from what I've seen, they're good to about 400hp. Theres a guy who made prototype seals that my buddy now has on his ms6 since his #3 injector seal got ******. Another guy also has the same seal and he's making 589hp on his MS3. He is also creating an intake manifold so we'll see how that turns out.

Stock for stock the above two cars are about the same power-wise and weigh more than my Mz6 V6. Can't tell you what occurred on this site lol.

Humm, well thats what i like to hear.

Just street tuned my car, backed off boost holds 16-17 psi depending on BATs. leaned it out a bit and now she nicely holds 11.8-11.9 for afr, calibrated the maf some more to account for the colder temps vs summer so i am only pulling about 5% for each breakpoint. then i went went, wtf! no kr at wot for any of my 10 runs? the hell, time to get a little more aggressive in timing. still no kr, NOTHING!

perhaps its just because ambient was around 9 degrees c. but if it warms up a bit and i still pull no kr on 92 octane, im gonna go nuts lol.
Weird part of this is i took a stage 1 map for 93 octane and made all these changes! WIN!

I have a question for the cobb atr pro's, the ap is only taking samples at like every 0.8 -1 second. any way to bring this back down a bit to like 0.5 seconds or so?
 
If you have a laptop and datalog you can get about 100 lines a second. Not sure if you can change the AP's setup.
