Pics on car as soon as I put it on. Maybe this weekend.

Greetings from Japan! As far as what I did to my car, I called my brother and told him to wash the car while I have been gone! ALSO! I have seen TWO Mazda MPS' and a CX-7. As well as a Caddy STS-V, And a nice Audi, that I had never seen before!

Interested in seeing how this works out for you, keep us updated.

Yeah definitely. Shouldn't take longer than a weekend. Just need to buy oil and coolant lines at the local store and fab a new downpipe which will probably be the hardest. The guy who made the mani came out with a revised version that's twin scroll so I might eventually switch to that and sell the one I have now.

well i'm not going to the track now, they closed it early for repairs since weather from here on out isn't the best

You should contact Antoine and see about hanging out. :p

this sounds promising, twin scroll ftw. so this all custom eh? wish i had the money & time right now, lol someday... looks like you went external wastegate, so im assuming the manifold had a bigger port... veddy nice. did i miss the part where you called out the turbo? i cant quite make out the lettering in that 2nd pic. and you went forged internals yes? sorry if we covered this already...

It took a lot of saving up to get to where I am now, lol. The turbo is a Garrett GT3076R T3 .82 A/R. And no, it'll be stock block. I'm looking for 420whp daily driver and probably 475whp with a balls to the wall tune. My buddy locally made 441whp 527awtq with his 3071 on his ms6 w/ stock block so I don't think it'll be impossible to make more than he did with my 3076. He'll be helping me putting my turbo in and tune it so we'll see.

wow all stock internals pushing 475 awhp would be redic! we had a guys ms3 pushing only 350ish and he melted through a piston!
hope you can pull it off, just make damn sure your tuner is friggin brilliant lol... i think the melted piston was due to no tune at all, lol

cant wait to see how this goes man!

oh btw, mounted my PC'd wheels yesterday, looks hot.
just really wanna put center caps back on, but ill have to color match/paint myself when i find time.

What color did you get?

i was originally aiming towards the 1st gen ISF wheel color (brushed Pewter).
but since PC places can't legitimately match manufacture colors, i settled on "Black Chrome".

It shines all pretty, isnt simply BLACK like i wanted to avoid, and wont show brake dust as bad as stock silver.
and i no longer have silver rims that 75% of cars have, lol. YAYYYY< pics soon :D teaser pic of color was posted in the "photographer" thread...

those look sweet.

since no track this weekend, looks like I'll be detailing my car and getting some wax on for the winter.

Tried to pull a little fuel from my up WOT fuel tables, oddly nothing changed... will need moar research. am sitting at 11.59, want 11.8-9ish. boost is holding at a nicer 17-18 psi. at idle richness fixed though. arf's bounce a little at crusing from about 14.5 to 14.9. wish there was more roads around here where i could do pulls and not get tickets.

hey zinger, you working with someone on a Pro Tune? or this garage tuned... either way, looks like you are real close to target!

thanks steve, thx element... yay i havent had time or lighting for a pic of the wheels on mah car yet, but ill post ASAP.
most likely today or this wknd, i may go on another photo shoot with my buddy. but i've just been insane busy lately, lol
i still have to find the right paint to color match the center caps, and ill end up color matching my badges with it too.

ms6zoomzoom, that sounds like some build. Do you have a progress thread? I'm very interested, please keep us updated. Last person trying something big was Boosted, who was aiming for 4-500 at the wheels I think... then out of nowhere he buys an is-f lol.

Just street tuning wherever i can find a very quiet road.
its a cobb ots map modded a little originally by quick6 for the throttle mapping with my own changes to load, fuel, wastegate duty cycle.
All of my runs say max 0.7kr at light cruising speeds and 0kr through any of my 6 runs i made. So it might be time to mess with ignition tables before i get fuel any leaner.

once i get nice and close to the tune i want then i will go to a dyno and make a few pulls to see what kind of number i can get. perhaps i should hold off untill i get a catback. stock might not be cutting it sooner or later.
