What have you done to your Mazda6 today?

Those holes are prob where some one had a dry shot of NOS hooked up at some point. We rigged up a stealth system like it on my friends mustang back in the day.

Thanks bova. This must be my case since I have mild cams in it. This is the funny thing. when I test drove it and cranked it at the dealership it started perfectly. But the first time I disconnected the battery the problem has presist. Maybe there was a flashed tune on the car and it reset with the battery??

Steve- the interior looks better already. I used some cleaner and got rid of all that oily armor all. I am putting a different shifter and shift boot in as well as a new consol cover. Its just a matter of time before I do some mods. Right now my main focus is finding out why it has a problem at start up. It may not be a bad idea to take it to a corvette tuner for them to take a look at it. i cleaned up the engine bay alittle bit today. It was rediculous how the previous owner neglected the engine compartment. It was like mud shooting out of every cranny when I took the air hose to it. I got it decent. I am skeptical about sparying some engine cleaner and hosing the stuff off. It may do more harm than good.



wannabe - There is exactly 3" of ground clearance on that lip. I will remove it an use it for car shows once I get a 2" drop.
 
dammit. you have a picture of your new car next to your 6 Taylor.. i wanted to do that but i don't think ill have a chance too unless i ask at the dealership when i trade it in.. I'm going to take a bunch of pics before i trade it in though....

so how exactly are you going to trade it in?? like what parts will be on it. because last i head it was 90% complete.
 
everything except for what i've already mention will be on it at trade in..a friend from highschool works thier, so im getting a killer deal on the trade in compared to what taylor was offered for example.. so im not complaining about it. so basically the next person who buys it, is buying a race car.

Got some bosch icons for both 6's.. probobably going to put them on tomorrow or over the weekend since i dont feel like washing it right now.
 
finally installed the STS Stage 1. Gawd, that sucked balls.

Ha! I just did Stage 2 last Saturday, so I know what you're talking about. What was your favorite part? Ripping apart your interior? Drilling holes through a metal part of your car? Getting supremely paranoid about losing that blasted little blue bushing?

Rain-X'd the windshield last night and have big plans for tomorrow! Going to do the AUX mod, install LED interior lights, install 6000k HIDs, and possibly install my 3" SU Test pipe :D
 
One day I want to sell my 6, the next day I'm thinking about getting a FMIC lol. Has anyone ever felt like this before? Different days different wants?

the effing 6mm lock washer freaking wanted to lose itself, so I had to wait until today to get a new one to complete the job. Not to mention, making sure the TWM plate was completely secure on the stock plate with like 50 different pieces....holy buckets...

at least it's done though.
