What have you done to your Mazda6 today?

where did you get the oil cap wrench? I need to change my oil, but the oil cap wrenches for my mazda 3 were garbage and wouldn't grab hold... had to use my dad's universal one meant for the spin-on filters. why oh why did mazda choose the cartridge type?

I used a standard metal strap wrench. It may not have been the best tool for the job, but it worked just fine.

Heres what i did this weekend

Well First off i gotta thank Marlon & Chris & SpeedSource for everything this past weekend at the NJMP 250 Grand Am Rolex Series Race, had a blast.. got to crew for the #70 SpeedSource Mazda RX-8

that was a really awesome experience and everyone made me feel like a part of the crew. Speed Source Dominated everyone in GT Finishing 1,2,3 with the #70 Winning the race, that was an awesome experience as well..

I got one off Amazon, make sure its the right # of flumes.
 
Got mine at autozone. i think the brand is OEM or something like that and its called the
Oil filter B cap wrench
 
today i woke up and drove an amazing 5 hours through the cabot trail in cape breton, nova scotia (canada... google it) i'll post some pictures once i get to a dsl connection.. uploading while teathering wouldnt be a great choice(uhm)

right now i'm on a boat crossing the atlantic between NS and PEI with about 45 minutes of driving left then i'm home... 1700km later!
 
lol. I knew you guys would love the suspense!! I'm joking. But our local dealer just got a blue and red one in. I havent had the pleasure to see one on the road however. :D


mglavina - I think I would be the one 10 cars back.. My car is qwik but its not that fast.

We did the Cabot Trail last year, it was a beautiful Drive! It was in a little rental car (Nissan Versa!), but still enjoyable.

Just a few weeks ago we were on another trip, and driving some of the best driving roads in the world (according to Top Gear), the Stelvio Pass, the San Bernardino Pass, and the Grimsel Pass, through the Alps from Italy into Switzerland.
