What have you done to your Mazda6 today?

so Cobb's New Load Cap Removal is WIN.. i flashed the map today and drove it around nicely.. and just now i went out and "had alittle fun" with the new map.. and all i gotta say is DAMN!!!.. put me back in my seat..

should also note that i have my WGDC table set to 0.00 until 3000 rpm and although it still pushes alittle boost before that, when the car goes past 3000 rpm its a ******* monster..

and no cop trouble on the main highway while i was testing the car out is always a good thing..

im still getting alittle bit of hesatation going from 2nd to 3rd.. damn ignition. we'll see what it does with Blow Thru on monday.. if it still does it, might be putting in an early order for the HKS Twin Ignition.

Other than the car is still running good. Nope. My BOV isnt as crisp sounding as it was for the first few days. Not sure why that is. But the car is still running great. My coupler on the hot side of the turbo melted from the exhaust manifold being so close. I replaced it with a new one. Now that one is melting. I have ordered 2" piping to come off the turbo at a 45 just to get it away from the heat and keep from melting.

I ended up running my map as 0%wg all the way up to 3k rpms. This is to keep boost to a minimum under that. Boost targets 12psi after 3 grand and by 3500 I have it start targeting 20psi all the way up to 6k then tappering down to 17 by redline. The car feels much stronger. I am curious as how this new atr and maps will run.

and i drove the 6i to get pizza mmmmmmmmmm pizza.

Tomorrow, driving the 6i to orlando.

That sound awesome,(not the whole couplers melting) I guess I'm going add the blow thru setup to my build list. Can't wait to hear how the new ATR and maps work out for everyone. Were you already hitting the the Load Cap?

i was.. and i looked and looked and looked for any changes from the 1.04 version of the maps to the 1.05 version and there is not any that ive seen, except for the fact that they added in those 2 tables ( which is a big help!!!!) but other then that nothing was changed if you look at 1.04 ots or a 1.05 ots.. im not running an OTS map, but the 2 new tables start off at 2.50 from 2000 rpm to 6500 rpm.. i bumped up that number to 2.65 for now.. some of the BT guys are just maxing their tables from 2000 to 6500 out at 3.00 so the cap is out of the equation completely. but honestly if your running a 1.04 map keep it and just edit those 2 new tables in ATR, save the map again with a different name, flash it with your laptop automatically in the car ( no AP needed) <<---- badass!!!! and go for a ride.

^You are hitting 2.5 with your mods? I have seen a 227 and once a 248. So I am pretty close to the verge. Also are you sure not to use the new 1.05? I know back when FFS and LC came out the older 1.03 maps werent capable of those features.

all i did was i installed the updated ATR, loaded in my current map.. adjusted the 2 new tables, saved the map again with a different name, loaded it into the car.. worked fine.

i was seeing 240's sometimes but it was very random, so with the OTS tables set to 2.50 i decided to bump it up .15 to 2.65 just to be safe.

I was reminded today how awful I am at wiring and soldering... but I finally managed it! I have aux input in my car now. did the six-club 3.5mm to bose mod and spliced in a ground loop isolator and an extension cord. Now I need to get my grimey little hands on a dremel. right now its pretty half assed, but it sounds great, no hiss or hum! lets hope my bad wiring ends up holding.

The actual install took 15 minutes, the damn wiring took 4 beatles albums

Almost had my car hit by a grocery cart and gave the lady a piece of my mind. I was parked 5 yards from the grocery collect area in the parking lot. Was on the way to my car and saw the lady place the cart between her and my car. As she gets in her car the thing starts rolling and I ran to grab before it hit my car.

Sickening how lazy / inconsiderate people are.

Yea I hate those people. One guy was walking through a lot one time and push a cart directly at mine. Lucky for him it stopped about 20 feet in front of my car. When my dad bought his new truck. He parked it way at the back of the grocery store one afternoon. To come out with a cart pushed up against the side of it and a large dent on the lower part of the door.

Edit: My led tails came in the mail today. I took my stock tails out and cleaned the area behind them waiting on the mail today. And it came as soon as I was ready. Then I realized it had a whole wiring harness and no instructions were included. I thought they were plug n play but I guess not. I didnt have enough time before work to run all of the wiring so back to my stock tails for now. If I can find a how-to tonight I will try to install these tonight when I get off.
