Hoping to give mine a bath and clean the interior up. The wheel wells desperately need some attention, since I can see them now that the car rides like an SUV again...
Steve, you ought to change your avatar to match the future color of your 5.0...just an idea.
As much as that sucks I still think i got you beat. I bought the car used with 28k miles on it. a little over 5k miles later, turbo seals gone. Bout 1k miles later, I down shift from 3rd to 2nd at about 3k rpms and boom, clutch and flywheel gone. Then bout 500 miles after that, on my way home from class, engine decides its time to call it quits. Only had the car for about 7k miles before engine blew. Found out that the owner before me beat the s*** out of it, drove it to the ground and only changed the oil once in 28k miles. -.-

sadly its usually not obvious until a few days/weeks/months after purchase.
the safest way to do it is immedietly take it to a trusted mechanic to do a FULL inspection.
Then you can try and get errything taken care of at the dealer if its still under warranty.
Mine was mainly body dmg that i somehow overlooked in the excitement of getting my car.
