What have you done to your Mazda6 today?

Yellow is the softest. Blue is in the middle followed by red being the hardest. Red is to hard unless you run very high boost.

yup, and the shims let you tweak in between.

The body shop FINALLY got my correct tail light in. They called me this morning but I have meetings this AM, so Monday it is.

i really need to get the rest of the old tape off the sharkfin i bought so i can add new tape and put it on but its taking so long that i keep putting it off.

The new clutch is getting a little easier to manage in slow traffic. It definitely isn't for everyone, but I love it because it reminds me of my Nova. A little bucking here and there never hurt anybody!

same as i did last month and the month before nothing. but i did just receive in the mail my fixed su intercooler and i will be installing that over the weekend....and i will be ordering my rpm street springs today which i am very happy about

Question... I just looked at my TIP, and the instructions say "2007-2009 Mazdaspeed 3"

:| s***...

Unless it's the exact same pipe? The brand is Cobb and I have the Cobb SRI... Need input asap, wanted to do this today.

Hey Smokey,

How's it going? I hadn't seen you post in a while.

Hey Smokey,

i am on this site constantly chris..i just haven't had much to say and am just enjoying everyone elses posts and constantly learning from this site..things are going well tho..like i said i am excited about my new intercooler...its a little different then everyone else...and i am very excited about buying the rpm springs for the car...just scared to do the install...The Great NY will be assisting me in the install process in 2 weeks so i cant wait for that. got my 2nd tune through surgeline last month and did a few logs for him. i want to do a few more when the weather gets to around 50 here in ny before sending my review in to him. the car is alot faster in my opinion and i am loving it.

the winter months are always slow for me ..i dont drive it much. i think in total over the 3 month winter span i put about 100-200 miles on it.

how have things been for you? hope everything is going well for you!

Things are going well. Got the clutch/flywheel install out of the way.

You shouldn't be too worried about the spring install. It's a couple hour job but overall isn't difficult. You'll enjoy the work!

Gary, the spring install is cool, just take your time and you'll breeze through it. Plan on 3 hours or so with air tools and a spring compressor.

Springs are actually one of the more fun installs because you get to get your hands dirty (unlike an intake/TIP), and you get a quantified end result that you can see every time you walk up to your car (unlike a motor mount or something similar).

Installed my Xcarlink (formerly AudioLink) Ipod/aux adapter. Works like a charm. Put the Ipod cable and the aux cable into the Nav pocket so I can plug the aux into my Droid on the windshield mount and use it for Pandora while I use it for Navigation. So nice.

glad things are going well for you and thats awesome about the cluth/flywheel

chris and steve thanks for the positive outlook on the spring install. kind of makes me feel better about the phone call to rpm regarding the purchase that i am about to make as soon as i get a break here at work lol.

Finished installing my TIP and dear god, I thought my car was fun and nice sounding when it was stock :|.

With the SRI, TIP and forge BPV it truely sounds like something you wouldn't expect out of a mazda 6... I love it.

How did your forge respond?? After my TIP my intake sounds got quite a bit louder. Especially under normal accelerating under 3K rpm.

But my forge bpv sound got more distinct. And it doesn't go off as easily as it used to (the ping sound). I don't mind at all but I didn't expect that.
