What have you done to your Mazda6 today?

recived and installed my winters... while in the air found both exaust hangers in the middle of the car unhooked

Meh you aren't going to hydrolock unless you hit a HUGE puddle that basically submerges the intake going at a decent speed. Or unless you drive into a lake . . .

Last year it flooded quite a few times here in orlando. We get huge rains and I have never had an issue. If its bothering you that much just get an SRI . . . They are cheap anyway. Have you ever seen a hydroshield ???

If you put it under a faucet and let the water fall on it nothing gets through. It would really take a lot to cause an issue

lol yay, im prolly paranoid specially for california weather...
and yes, i currently have a hydroshield.

leaving the parking lot at work for lunch today... the streets are flooded.
if i drive faster than 10-15 mph the water FLOODS into my fenders since im fairly low, and for driver side that would be BAD... my tape job will only help so much if i drive too fast...

so im driving like a grandma right now haha.

Looked at my passenger side door today only to notice 2 new dings. I honestly don't know how this happens to me. I ALWAYS park on end spots way to one side (I get to school early). Today I got to school late so I was forced to park "normally" but the same cars that I parked next to were there when I left. So frustrating. Then I look at my friends cars who park anywhere and they are without a scratch. Sigh . . .

i work in a mall... i choose my parking carefully... its usually in a no parking zone to aviod dings....

one of the last days before i sold my last car i was parked in a regular spot and someone hit the car causing almost $500 worth of damage(gah)

Tuesday night, left the front windows a crack open.
God smiled at my stupidity, cause in my area it only drizzled off and on the whole night.
still lotsa water in the car, but it wasnt enough to heavily soke in the carpet or fry any electronics.... *PHEW* dried everything off ASAP i saw it that morning, 6am. got back with my car at 2am so at least it WASN'T an 8+ hour mistake....!!!

oh oh oh, and i got my DH!! Been goofing around wtiht eh programing & profiles.
I LOVE THIS THING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! still trying to figure out certain settings and options.
yayyyyyyy

Took mine to a car wash and gave it a proper bath. It was looking pretty rough, and the DIY spray wash places weren't doing a good enough job. It's got a shine back and the weather has warmed up enough where it should keep for a bit.

Tomorrow I'm going to:
-rotate the tires
-change the oil & filter
-full interior detail
-lubricate all the door hinges & locks
-look at drivers fog light HID
-investigate RSB clunk

I thought you had resolved your clunk. You're only having problems on the stiffer setting, right?

It comes and goes. Only over uneven surfaces. And yes, the H&R springs with the RSB on a stiffer setting don't like each other that well.

If I had to do it again, I'd do the AutoExe springs and their RSB all at the same time.

has nothing to do with my ms6, but ima b off in the overseas backcountry for a few days, so those that i owe answers to, sorry but gimme a few days.

-Hand washed
-Applied Clay Bar for the first time since owning
-Waxed

-Also washed and waxed my 04 GSXR 600

Can't believe the crap left behind even after washing that the clay pulled up. This stuff is amazing. Now getting ready to go do a full interior detail. Then if it warms up go for a ride on the bike.

i envy you and your climate

Yeah it sucks. Im still baffled as to where I could have gotten hit because I NEVER park between cars except at the grocery store where the spots are huge. Im thinking maybe some old tard hit my car with a grocery cart. The car isn't scratched though so I don't know . . .

Just kills me how I struggle to park away from people and yet I end up with more dings than people who don't give a s***.

But 500 bucks of damage. Man now that sucks /:

1 week after owning my MS6 i parked at the FAR end of a grocery store parking lot.
i come outta the store and see a cart against the driver side of the rear bumper....
turns out there is a very very SLIGHT slant in the parking lot, someone left a cart out of the corral and out of the WHOLE !#$@#$ parking lot, it rolled down and hit MY car??!?!?

you better believe i was pissed.
imagine some random dude yelling at a shopping cart at 12am in an empty parking lot beside his car. yup. lol.

luckily, its just two small screwhead sized indents, not that noticeable, and no paint loss/scratches.
*phew*

Lol sounds like something that would happen to me. I have had the following scenario happen to me a few times.

Whenever I need to hit up costco, target, wallmart or the likes I park WAY back so im all alone. Those places have huge parking lots. I walk back to my car only to find some POS sitting right next to me. There are like 100 closer spots but no . . . they probably do it on purpose.

Just got back from the Ford dealer today, after looking at the cost and options of my replacement. I felt odd driving away in my MS6, it just felt so foreign compared to the GT I drove (same one from before).

Oh, and Grabber Blue is dead sexy in person, but takes bad pictures.

Well I wouldn't envy the climate.. 47 tomorrow and nice. Saturday is 54 degrees 100% chance of rain. Sunday is 34 with snow.... So I never know what its going to do.

i cant complain to much at the moment as we're having unseasonably high teps of about -5 degrees celcius... but in the near future it'll be bitter cold and snow storms will drop upwards of 4 feet of snow (or more(confused) ) at at time

Boy that is no bueno. Sounds like what we just got through having.
