What have you done to your Mazda6 today?

While driving to work last night...hit a large puddle of water that had chunks of rocks in it and split my splitter as I plowed thru the water....F*UCK!!!!

Went to MI local bbq and car gawking. Had great fun cruising there (2.5 hours away). Saw lots of great cars, including an import GT-R.

Thats what Im scared of with my AUTOEXE CF one.. I already have bottomed out.. And slight scraped the front bottom.. I had to use electrical tape to cover it up but its on the bottom so you cant really see it unless your like 6 inches from it.. I have a feeling my front lip will eventually go the way of the DODO like yours..

Saturday I replaced my plugs (can't believe how bad they were with 55k on them), cleaned my TB, greased rear sway bushings, and cleaned the IM.

today they had the rental company come pick me up and give me a mazda 3... i wanted to be a dick and argue to get a similarly equipped car... but its not worth my time... atleast now that theyre paying $30/day to have me in a car the repairs will happen sooner...

it's not looking like theres going to be an engine in north america though

check spark plugs first, make sure they are gapped properly. if you are using stock plugs they might be fouled at this point.

Spark plugs haven't been touched since I've owned the car, pretty sure the previous owner didn't do anything either so I would assume they are the stock plugs. I'm at about 72,000 km.

Mine were s*** at 55,000 on my V6. That (IMO) is pretty poor quality, so replace those fuckers! I went 90k on stock Toyota plugs in my '97 Camry V6

55,000 km or mi? I'm in Canadaland lol. Damn, too bad I have the stock tmic, if I had a fmic it would be even easier to check. Maybe I should just do the fmic while I have the top off(nana)

just change your plugs, taking the stock tmic only takes like 10-15min.

55k damn.
I'm at 64k and all I have done is change the oil every 5k and the brake booster went out around 58k

Wonder what my plugs look like

We have Ford Motocraft plugs. My bet is that they are s***. That could be why your mileage sucks/sucked a while back. From now on, I'm changing mine 35-40k miles. Your lucky, the V6 requires removing the whole upper intake manifold.
