Did a quick wash yesterday and polished the headlights. Still waiting for a full weekend off so I can clay, polish, and wax. I'm also eagerly awaiting Steve's H&Rs which should arrive on Tuesday. (thumb)

Recharged my ac yesterday. Ordered the CPE center tripple gauge pod. I realized using 2 out of the 3 center vents as gauge mounting points is a bad idea. As it doesn't flow much cool air at all.

hmm i think i remember asking you how good your a/c works a while back with the 2 vents having gauges in them.. the cp-e pod is a nice piece. clean look.. i have to order one too and ditch my lotek.

got my rear fenders rolled.
No rubbage!!! i can get back to track and canyons.
cept the rears of course dont like quite as flush as they were since the fenders got pulled slightly too.

Ill be attempting the 20mm in a few months, haha.

I love my cp-e gauge pod. Pattern on it almost matches the stock dash, everyone thinks its stock.

Good thing my prosport 60mm gauges tapper down and can fit in 52mm gauge pods. I havent heard much on the lotek ones. Just that the cpe is a much nicer piece and you can still use the storage under it. Figured I would spend the extra money and get the best one.

Did a bit of playing around with the instrument light dimmer switch, and I think I might have figured out which line to tap into to dim the boost gauge I have to install. I'll just need to wire it up and see if I'm right...I tried a quick shot at making it work but the gauge didn't respond, hopefully because I was doing a temporary tap instead of the gauge being DOA.

its the light green wire on the dimmer wheel.

This weekend was car intensive:

Finally got my turbo replaced under warranty, so aftermarket parts went back on, and added a few others: I installed the Nano and SU TP last weekend, Seafoamed the engine, and this weekend I installed a Corksport CBE, 3.25" ETS TMIC, PG TIP, Denso ITV22's, and Forge BPV. This car is intense now, and as much as I want to stop modding, I want an Accessport badly now.

Car sounds great, but is a tad too loud for me (I live on a cul-de-sac and wear khakis. I am getting old at my tender 25 years of age). Might look into getting the Corksport resonated test pipe.

Otherwise, extremely impressed with everything, except the PG TIP which I am only satisfied with - Nothing wrong with it, but fitment could be better. But for 99 bucks, I am not complaining

Since I installed the Denso's and the TIP at the same time, I can't tell what smoothed out the car more, but I am going to say the Denso's.

So, I also learned that if over the course of an hour you are having a hard time getting under the car, no, its not because you are getting tired, but rather, the jack stands are sinking about 3/4" to an 1" into the ground:

Also, for exhaust work, my new favoritest tool - 30 seconds and all 6 exhaust hangers removed. Well worth the 20 bucks:

Old spark plugs:

New turbo (Replaced under warranty around beginning of April 2010)

Hmmm, you sure about that? Going off the output voltages, it looked like it should be the one above it, though maybe I'm remembering it wrong now (it's not exactly easy to see the cables and measure the voltage on the back of that plug, not a lot of slack in the cable). When the lights are on, only one of the outputs varies in voltage, I figure that is the one to tap for the lights.

I need to go get some vacuum hose and wiring stuff to put this in, today was just recon. Looks like an easy install aside from picking the right wires.

I didn't get a chance to do much this weekend, just washed my winter wheels and tires and put them away for the season.

Washed, clay bar'd, waxed, finished, interior cleaned . . . . smooth like a babies ass. My friend helped so it took only 90 minutes.

Thinking about selling my TMIC and going FMIC. Will probably lower my boost and its SO DAMN HOT right now. I forgot how nasty humid / hot it gets here in fl. The black on black never cools off either so even with the A/C blasting im still sweating / sticky.

Any of you guys know if tinting the windshield works?? Like very minor 5% or so. Seems like it would make a huge difference as thats where the sun usually permeates.

yay it does. You can also get "blue tint" which is actually completely clear.
it just blocks some massive amount of UV and reduced heat up to 50%.

if you can find a good reputation tinter to do it, its worth it.
But if its layed down badly, it will get blurry and hard to see through in that heat.

zomg boosted, your engine bay looks lickable clean! lol.
