What have you done to your Mazda6 today?

Been reading this thread for a while so I figured it was time to join in :P.

Washed the car Saturday and detailed it. Spent a good 2 hours on it. Of course, I was out driving for about 20 minutes and in full sun with 80 degree weather, it started raining. Just for 10 minutes to piss me off.

Damn you random Vegas weather! =[

Any of you guys know an easy gauge to install? I have this 3rd hole in my gauge mount thats just driving me crazy. Oil press / temp require the spin on / sender plate which I don't really feel like purchasing. Would look nice but its pointless in our cars. Any other alternatives? Nothing stupid like a clock lol.

Well I currently have boost, a/f ratio, and exhaust temp. Exhaust is pretty easy... but if I remember correctly, had to fab up some stuff for it... can't quite remember though. =/

changed my fuse box cover color to:

BTW: it's not sticker. it's painted...

looks sweet... id kinda want the skull facing the other way, towards the front of the car but it still looks cool.

welcome to the thread!!! the MS6/6 247 ppl seem to hang out here quite a bit.

by the time i realized ,it's already up side down :) i might redo it ....

well it was well done at least! hehe. nice work... if ONLY it was facing foward. :D

Oh, and as for what i did to my MS6 today. well since im STILL not used to taking it much slower over bumps/dips, i hit a street gutter in an intersection TOO fast, and my offset fed my fenders more tire sidewall. nearly to the point of noodling... im actually scared of my 12 hour round trip drive this weekend.

had a great visit to the dealer today(unamused)

the tech couldnt hear the clunk i was hearing, but he did note that it needs a wheel bearing, the front diff is leaking, and power steering fluid has dissapeared

i paid my bill and walked out to the car, released the clutch and hear a noise 100x worse than the clunk i had been hearing... i circled the parking lot once and pulled back up to the door and got the service manager...

my right rear wheel was barely being held on with the lug nuts.. one of which was missing(screwy)

What did he mention about the front diff leakage? Mine is doing the same....

Got an estimate to repair the door trim, side skirt, and two dents on door. $285 total, much lower than I thought. It's going in next Tuesday for the repairs, and I'll have it back by the end of the week.

RSM's a nice place to be. That's going to be a nice trip! I was stationed in 29 Palms and had a lot of fun in the RSM area while I was out there.
