17%?!?! I got my first auto loan at age of 20 with pretty much no credit, and my Interest rate is 9.9

Just put a CAI on my 3, first mod =]

For just a kit/labor?
If you want real performance, you want to rebuild your block.
Otherwise, have fun with your low pressure turbo.

That's not very nice. Even @ low pressure I'm sure the improvement will be plenty.

Too much and you couldn't get the extra power to the wheels. What good is that?
Too much (w/o MANY more upgrades) and the car becomes unreliable. What good is that?
Too much and the upgrade/repair costs can easy exceed the original cost of the car. What good is that?

I say CONGRATS and best of luck on the turbo upgrade!!! I'm sure it will make the car much more fun to drive. And 3k ain't bad for a turbo.

Remember though that now you have to stop at the PREMIUM pump. :D :D :D

Thanks! And by the way.. I already do :)

Then up to this point, you've been wasting your money... and perhaps shortening the life of your cats.

Congrats on the turbo upgrade infamous...you'll enjoy it, I still get 28-30 mpg avg. per tank, premium of course, no ethanol. And when I need power, I got around 80 whp in my pocket. Low psi turbo is all a 3 needs, and still retain the economical qualities that make it a great vehicle. Built? Waste of effort on our cars. Camaro, Stang, Zs, etc. yeah not a 3.

you do realize most 3's have been able to "safely" run 6-8psi on a gt28 and thats good more whp than a stock speed3 so yea a "low pressure" turbo'd 3 can be damn fun
