What happens to MPG when you Modify?

I'll do better than that.... I got 35 MPG all the way from North Carolina to Michigan! Thats going right through the mountians and everything.

I always get 330 or more to a tank, without completely draining it, oh and I drive "spirited".

So what does that translate to in MPG?

I get around 350 or so. Doesnt a 2.5 midpipe give a few more mpg?

I get about 27 mpg...mostly city driving; I haven't measure strictly highway mileage yet.

edit: That 27 mpg was when I was not being so mean to my car, but the 330+ per tank is recent measurements.

I am "Modded" as you can see in my sig.

I usually get 25-27 MPG in mixed driving around here on California 91 octane, running about 8.5PSI

On the trip to Protegefest though I got 34 almost 35 MPG, I turned off my boost controller for the trip, ran stock boost, and on the freeway since your out of boost for most of the trip it's like driving an econobox still! I love Forced Induction.

So then why aren't the horsepower gains that noticeable with just an intake if that much more fuel is being dumped to change the gas mileage? That doesn't make sense.

if more fuel is dumped, there will be power loss not a power gain(in MOST cases) from the dyno's ive seen of msp's with cai's the a/f ratios go LEAN compared to stock. Which means less fuel if you didn't know....

What about swaping to copper spark plugs? Will that decrease MPG?
