What do you think she's worth???

YES! where did you find that? I'm starting to get excited about this now!
We can put the new timing belt on after all!

Just notified the parts yard where to ship the engine today... baby steps... but this baby needs to grow fast I think the Cobra is getting about SIX miles to the gallon... :(

I don't know how serious I am, but she's up for sale now... but not to worry I probably won't get the asking price... ;)

I still want to get the Forge BPV from Ryan and see if I can't work a few of these kinks out before giving up completely!!!

She's back, runs and drives with the 71K engine swapped in with new stuff... and I put the two year registration sticker on the windshield today so I don't get hassled for expired stickers... I just hope I don't get hassled by cops thinking it is a fake sticker if they don't know you can get 1, 2, and even 3 year registration stickers now in Texas...

I can't believe it's already on the road! Don't sell it, you just got it fixed. I have had great luck with my car on the stock drivetrain, it's been to the track twice and seen 9 psi for about a year now. I'm sure it will last you a long time.

Like I said, I don't think anyone would pay the asking price... I don't really want to sell it, but man I think I am about $6,000 into repairs/maintenance/upgrades in the last two months between this car and the Cobra... that would have made a NICE down payment on a SRT8 Magnum... hopefully they can sort the clutch issue out this week/weekend and install these bronze bushings for the shifter.

It almost feels like the car starts to move when trying to start it... but kind of mushy? I don't know if there is some air in the lines or what...

I would just get it road-ready and dd it with no mods. We will never see the kinda of money we put into these cars back. Look at the bright side from my understanding you went 9 years without any major repairs, that got to count for something.

I think that is the reason for the sadness... I got spoiled by reliability of the daily driver... my main problem with the no mods thing is that why would I spend $25 on a regular replacement part when I can get something better for $40, ya know? I am TRYING not to go overboard for sure...

Once on the road and reliable again I am sort of planning a couple more items that have already been in the works and not a lot else... I haven't got the original engine torn down to see if the MBSP is salvagable or not... if it is I will probably start the process of getting a block here to start a forged build just so I can have a SOLID base for either a daily driver or a decent base for possibly upgrading a little here and there... Hopefully I will find another project to keep my mind off of these two before too long...

I am having the shop go ahead and flushing out the orginal brake fluid and using a Valvoline sythetic DOT3/4 fluid. I am hoping this might clear up some of the clutch issues at the same time if they do the flush and bleed both systems... I hope my Corksport shifter bushings get here tomorrow or Thursday at the latest...

I don't like Dodges, but I can't see how a 6.0+L V8 5000lb car that gets 12 mpg on a good day is a logical choice for a daily driver? I would keep driving the MSP and enjoy the new motor, if it blows again get rid of it but it shouldn't have blown in the first place.

did you end up building the engine?

The MBSP had a hole blown in the side of it... as well as the one in the block... after over $5,000 in repairs since November I haven't done anything... also the clutch that had 2,500 miles on it when the engine blew was slipping BADLY after being moved to the new engine... my Exedy stage I should be here Monday... I still like this car... LUCKY for it...

I'm still ready to meet when you are. I'm going to College station this weekend but let me know if you are free next week.
