What do you collect (hobby)?

I have quite a large collection of Corgi and Solei die cast cars, I also have a buncg of Dinky Toy cars and metal toy soldiers.

I also have quite an extensive art collection that I inherited from my grandparents, I have three painting the together are worth more than my house. And the whole collection is a pain to insure.

Kind of strange to have this much in art and make the crappy salary that I do, but such is life.

Anyone have any idea why Jada does so many more cars in 1:24 as compared to 1:18 scale. All my models are 1:18 or 1:64 and I have no interest in doing 1:24 too. I am glad they finally did Impalas in 1:18 scalle but why 1:24? 1:18 and 1:64 are the more popular scales. Any insight?

I think a lot of it has to do with the price point. You get a very nice detailed car (1:24) for only 10 bucks. They do, however, make quite a few in 1:18 scale, but you're right, a majority of their cars are 1:24. I personally really like the in between size....saves on space when displaying, too.

Oh, yea, I also have ten crates of old comic books from the 1970s, they are all in individual plastic sleeves and the crates are double baged with garbage bags. Someday I will give them to my son (when he is like 12 or something).

I have several friend with extensive gun collections. One of them had maybe ten weapons that were his great grandfathers, sweet stuff man.

BTW love the Grand Prix movie poster. Most people don't know about that movie and how they pioneered in car camera shots for movies.......there's some AWESOME footage of them racing around Monaco in that movie.......I need to score the DVD.

Well, I've had most of my original toys from when I was a kid from 1984 on up, but they are not on display, only displaying the newer ones right now. There are a lot to buy!
