what color rotas

Exactly right i dont want u to have my rims..jk if u get them u can join the cool club....hahah....

To each thier own...u like those riced out played out wheels that are black with a red lip and i like other newer diff things....to each their own...

Sorry yute, these are more along the lines of what i am looking for but unfortunately dont come in the correct offset...lucky for you cuz that would be bustin ur s*** up...just like Driver311 is in that best lookin MS3 poll you started and are losing. And for further info those "played out" black wheels with red lips have not been around nearly as long as those rotas that everybody and their mothers have including you...there is NOTHING new or different about Rota Tarmacs...but hey...to each his own...ill keep lookin, by the looks of your poll, you should prob do the same ;)

LOL...i love internet wise guys. The topic was obviously about the new owner of the cosmic blue ms3 wanting to know what color rota tarmac3s to put on. He has 18" wheels and those are 18" lipped wheels. Case and point, 2+2=4 son. Keep up.

(IMO 18's are too big and heavy anyways. If I do change wheels, I will more than likely step down to a 17")...typical, i guess you are a honda boy at heart at the end of the day...the car came with 18s that were designed for the car...in any event good luck with the +20hp yor gonna get from going to 17's since 18's are ooooo so heavy...LMAO, what you doin this weekend? I might need a hand rotating my tires, dont wanna throw my back out.

You quoted me and said YOU, therefore, I stated that I was not buying wheels.

Nah, I'm a Mitsu fanboy. (idhitit)

And yes, any extra weight on the drivetrain is going to have an effect. 17's will not put more power to the ground on a dyno, but the car will accelerate fasted due to the enging not having to turn the extra weight. Same goes for a lightweight flywheel.

The other reason I'll be going to a 17, besides the weight of the rim is the price of the tires. 245/45-17's are very inexpensive as compared to a 245/40-18. A performance tire will have a stiff enough sidewall that cornering should not suffer much, if any, and acceleration off the line should result in a bit less spin and hop and a bit more forward movement.

WTF does tire rotation have to do with anything? :) If you were close and providing food, I'd surely take up your sarcastic offer.

Now this is a nice Rota wheel and a decent size i suppose....pity they dont make 19s cuz some of their stuff is nice....the black ones are fly as well but only come 9.5 wide....figures

Those also only have crazy offsets IIRC. Maybe one of the sizes offers a 48 offset, but like you said it's a 9.5" wide wheel. That's the P45R and it's great for the rear wheels on a RWD car where you want wider tires out back, although I have seen the P45R's on all 4 corners of an EVO. That looked pretty nasty.
