Well, we traded our 03 P5 with 14k on the ode. We were looking for a used 90-97 Miata but we traded it for an 04 Miata in Black Cherry Mica which is a limited edition. The paint changes color from black to a very dark redish wine color. Its so awesome. It handles alot better then I thought it would. At the Mazda dealer we test drove 4 other Miatas and we just loved this car because of the color.

The options it has are the leather seats, shift knob, and steering wheel, it also has the BOSE system, and the 6speed tranny, Headlamp and taillamp bezels, front air dam, large side skirts, and large rear mudflaps.

I'll try to get some pics soon.

awesome, how's it feel going from the spacious wagon to the sardine can-like convertible? (lol)

Hey, way to go man! I've got a '91 Miata that I've done some stuff to and a few weeks ago we bought a P5. You'll love the Miata.

I couldn't give up my P5 for a Miata. So I kept the P5 and bought a Miata...then bought another (albeit they are much older than yours), lol. Very nice purchase though, I know you will enjoy it. Miatas are a blast to drive. Get it to an auto-x ASAP!!! :D

it was probably alot cheaper than the mazdaspeed versions huh?
The Dealer didn't have an MSP Miatas. Its awesome. We have the Miata Mania catalog from Moss Motors and we're going nuts about all the parts available. We were only looking for a MK1 Miata and planning to keep the P5. So now we're looking for a winter beater or I should say a family vehicle. But its worth getting the 04. I wish we traded the SE-R for it!

Do yourself a favor and get over to www.miataforum.com. More info than you could ever wish for, and very few pissing contests.

Moss has some good products, but you'll quickly find that there are much better options out there when it comes to modifying your Miata. Most vendors specialize in one thing or another, so what you need will dictate where you shop. Check out rspeed.net, flyinmiata.com, and seriousauto.com just to name a few. There's a pretty thorough list vendors in the Marketplace section of Miata.net, but there are still lots of good vendors out there that don't advertise with them.

btw, the Black Cherry Mica isn't a limited edition, despite what your dealer might have told you, but it is an amazing color. I also would have traded the Nissan for it, bt you could always sell the Nissan and get another P5.

Thanks for the tips. As for trading the SE-R in for the Miata I owe more then then trade in and I really didn't want to rollover acouple of thousand onto the Miata. We owed loss then trade in on the P5. I think now my partner is thinking it was a mistake to trade the P5. The SE-R will be traded for a Mazda3 in about a year from now.
