weak start

just curious, has anyone ever have a weak engine start? For the past few weeks my engine seems to be starting pretty weak...i haven't ran into any problems or CELs. I'm not sure if I should be concerned or not (dunno)

dirty air intake filter maybe? mine seemed to do same then i cleaned mine after about 15k miles and it hasnt really happend

i don't think so cause i have a CPe intake I installed about 3k miles ago. But it's worth checking out. I also have a CPe rear MM installed a while back. I noticed after I installed the CPE MM that the engine seemed "more connected" when starting it. I wish I had that same feeling when starting the engine again. And what I mean by that more "connected" feeling is that the engine seems to start right away without hesitation or feeling weak.

Describe how it is "weak." How are you using that word? Is it hard to start, like turning over too many times before it fires up? Or is it running rough when it starts? Or does it have an idle that's too low and it goes dead? Or are you saying that it starts and idles just fine but does not have a much power off idle? Or is it something else? Help us understand what is different about it?

It fires up right away, but it doesn't seem to have that much power off idle. One example is on a cold day, when I first start up the car it would NORMALLY idle at 2k and slow drop to 750-1000 RPMs once it warms up. But recently when I started it the idle started at 1500 RPMs and quickly droped to 1000 RPMs.
