Anyone know where i can get them for a good price? The one on protegegarage wants like 2-3 hundreds. I heard wastegates gives pretty decent power. Any suggestions?

the turbos on our car are internally wastegated, in ordere to get an aftermarket external wastegate, youd need to have a custom exhaust manifold

ppl keep tellin me to start off with CAI, bushings, and rear motor mount. tru?

when i installed my cai. my car felt like it lost power little power

seemed that the intake was letting in too much air for the stock bpv.

the turbo was laggier and the car felt a bit sluggish.

before adding the cai. started using mobile 93. and my car felt like a beast. and im comparing it to the feeling of when i added my cai.

but then i bought a new BOV. and man. the car really came alive.

the turbo began to spool up around 2300-2400k.

before cai and bov. my boy in his 350z with injen exhaust, deleted cats, and upper and lower plenum spacers would pull on me(from a roll im talking) and he would pull on me the whole time.

didnt race him when i added just the cai.

but i raced him the other night with my cai and type s bov added and i pulled on him everytime. i pulled on him over a car length everytime. he had one of his friends in this car so he was saying that was the reason.

so he had his boy get in my car.

same result. the i pulled on him by a car length. up until about 120mph. the distance between us two stayed the same and then at about 130-his beastly top end started to kick in and he began to gain on me until we let of the gas around 140

so i say. a new bov or bpv needs to accompany the CAI. then MM or inserts, bushing etc

PG does sell an upgraded wastegate for our turbos...it does help performance. But its not something I would do to a bone stock car...

Like everyone said, start with an intake, definitely need a tranny mount like a TRZ Poly, and then the skys the limit...
