Wow what a fantastic day! The weather was perfect, the company pleasant as usual and we accomplished a ton. Nice to see everyone again and the new folks. I'll be posting pics soon enough. Cheers.

P.S. - Thx again Oleg for the supplies.

Yes! Another great NEPOC meet hosted by Mark and his wife! Thanks for the hospitality you guys, couldn't have been better. I think we lucked out with the weather too. Just a perfect New England fall day.

Thanks Oleg for bringing a lot of great supplies again!

Thanks to Oleg and Josh for working on my car. The hood was so bright I couldn't see driving home into the sun.

Great meet. Thanks again Mark for hosting. Nice meeting everyone. Jeff, you home yet??

Thanks Oleg for the help/supplies and thanks for the free food Mark! Had a great time, nice to meet some new faces.

Thanks Jeff for helping with my springs. After a few pops on the way home the car feels great. No more bottoming out. Thanks Oleg for helping me clean my wheels and car. I owe you a beer some night...speaking of beer, make sure you start a thread about next Friday night.

I had a little additional work to do when I got home. Since Amanda didn't come I change a head light and installed an AUX input box so she can listen to her new iPod in the car.

Tomorrow we're going out to brunch for our 1st anniversary.

Hey guys, I rolled in about 10. Stopped at the Crystal Mall in CT to pick up some presents for the fam or I would have been home around 9:15.

Thanks again Mark for the hospitality and the food and drink! Also please thank Robin for the cookies...they were yummy!

A big thanks to Bruce too for playing mechanic once again. :) Car ran great on the way home....coolant resorvoir is a little low so I will check again in the morning before starting her up. Did anyone else hear a squeaking noise when I was leaving? At first I thought it was my rotors from washing the car, but it was constant the whole trip home.

And thanks to Oleg as well for convincing me to wax the car before I left. It looks great!

It was nice seeing everyone again and nice to meet some new people as well.

Hey Oleg, you gotta let me know what kind of beer that was in the 4-pack with the bigger bottles. It was pretty good!

Not a problem Chris! Glad I could help....next time we will get 'r' done in record time. hahaha

And Congrats to you and Amanda on the 1st anniversary! Tam & I will be celebrating 13 next May.

happy 1st to chris and amanda!! :)

thanks all for coming, we did have a great day both with the weather and company!! see you in the spring!

It was a great day! Thanks to everyone for coming out! We had a nice turnout, but we didn't do quite as much detailing this time around.

Jeff, you have to let me know how you like that wax and how long it lasts (keeps beading) for you.

I actually got to wash & wax my car too! Jim, thanks so much for putting on that final coat of wax at the end, I owe you one! I buffed everything out when I got back in the garage (condensation was gone).

I took some pics, but mostly towards the end of the day, I'll post 'em up later.

Also this time I didn't get sunburnt like a mofo (sunblock FTW).

It was Julius Echter Hefe-Weissbier Dunkel.

I left early because I was going to meet up with friends, only to find out they bailed out. Dang I missed the truck. Grrrrr.

My car feels brand new again with the stock springs and wheels back on. I didn't have the hub-centric rings for the rotas so they used to shake a little on the highway. I got on 24 on the way home yesterday and gunned it. The car was so smooth I made it to 80mph before realizing I should probably get off the gas.

I also learned a valuable lesson...never let any mechanic tighten your lug nuts. I think I will put a memo on my lug nut key...or perhaps I should just spot weld it to the lug wrench so they have no other choice! I'm very glad I didn't get a flat tire before yesterday because there is no way I would have got those lugs off on the side of the road using the wrench in my trunk. Even with Bruce's mega long wrench it was still a b****.

Look like i missed all the fun but i have no choice,(bang)mine went to the dealer for the 2 recall and the reardiff seal since monday and they called me on friday to tell me that they gonna keep my car over the weekend because they didn't have the part for it,and they cant let me take the car home because of the engine light......(jerkit)so i end up stay home (coffee)
