Wagner Shorty Header

i fixed my sound!! (yippy) i took the header back off and put all new studs in the collector and was able to torque the nuts on much easier and more secure. i also put studs on the block in all the hard to get to bottom bolt locations, and was able to spin a nut on easily, then torque the hell outta it with a wrench. all in all, MUCH more solid.

no sounds that i have heard yet...havent had it on the freeway to test the WOT whistle though...

and no, i did not replace the gasket, just cleaned it up and put some rtv on it.

....i used this 1500 temp heat paint I got from Consumer Auto Parts for 6.99 a can. worked well and they have numerous colors.

much better than spending an extra $115.00

looks good, let me know how it holds up in a couple months...

seems to be pulling a lot harder. its not taking off, off the line, but once it starts rolling it seems to just keep building, instead of falling flat...as far as whp, i cant really say, but its definetly more than either the intake or exhaust gave me :D

do you think you lost anything in the low RPMs?

[OT]BTW: WTF, u got married already? katie & lisa told me :( I didn't know what the date was or I would have tried to make it... anyways congrats![/OT]

I agree here.....I did not lose anything in the low RPM range and improved in the mid to upper range.

Maybe I will take everything off sat, clean the gasket and put the sealer stuff on.

We will see if I have time.

update: it got shipped to my house last friday, but i was out of town so now i have to wait until tuesday before it gets shipped again...damn labor day...so all in all, the turnaround time is not bad...just 9 days in my case!...

i've had mine on for about 2000 miles now....the header itself looks kinda crappy, but its the mild. still looks better than the rust bucket orange of the stock manifold. not coroded or anything yet...ill take some pics later if you guys want...
