I wouldn't do it! Yeah it looks hot but i bought a vis c/f evo hood and the fitment sucks ass, plus the thing started to crack in some spots. Don't buy from VIS!

I Don't care how good any VIS CF part fits...the weave is horrible on any one I have ever seen personally...The clear is about as smooth as the ocean....And I am not talking about the "GLOSS" or the actual "WEAVE"...just look at all the VIS pics and see the waves in the reflections....ITS HORRIBLE!

Now if you look at the Seibon trunk...the weave is straight and the Gloss and clear is a smooth as a babies ass!
Thats what seperates good CF from the JUNK!
My WW hood was awesome....perfectly smooth weave and clear....just had a couple of minor imperfections at the edge where the two layers meet...I would take those blems over a wavy part any day.

my vis hood now looks like ass on a bad day. compared to my dg grille, the weave on the vis hood is yellowing, and i have chips from rocks in the finish.

Hey RX...What are you talking about....I can see the wave in the hood just by looking at your sig pic...I dont think you understand what I mean by a wavy weave do you?

I have the VIS EVO hood and there are tons of issues with it. Both sides don't sit the same height, little white bubbles in the clear, the gel coating cracked around the opening in a couple of spots and flexes a lot on the highway. 400 bock shipped wasn't a bad price, so I guess you get what you pay for.

I've had nothing but good experience w/ VIS products. I have a full kit from them on my 91 crx that fits great. I'm hoping to buy one of their evo style hoods for my 5

Is that how much it was? Where did I get 400 from? I don't remember, either way, it was a good price and it still has those issues. Didn't yours have the bubbles too.
