ya the blue piece came off the stock trunk I thought it kinda breaks it up a bit. I dont know if I like it better w/ or w/out the wing it does look more like a protege but how many people would beleive it?

I would get the DG CF piece that replaces that blue trunk piece you have on now.

Anyone who says you need to paint that needs to STFU. None of us have a Protege fast enough to benefit from the small weight savings of a CF trunk. Therefore the only reason people buy it is for the look. Paint just adds more weight & increases the total cost...complete waste of $$.

I was giving my opinion so **** off. And any weight savings is a benefit especially since our cars are small they benefit from weight reduction by a greater differential than a heavier car. Dropping weight from both the hood and the deck you can concievable lose around 70lbs. Now I'm sure you've felt the difference between your empty car and when it weighs 70 more lbs. You are also losing that weight above the center of gravity so even better for us people that autocross. If you've ever been to one...and I doubt after saying this, "Therefore the only reason people buy it is for the look," you actually have; you would know they are used for more than just looks (notcool)

I thought the same thing about when they came out with this stuff. I was expecting to have to wait a month or so. They have hatches, trunks for the protege sedans and the 6's, and they are all in the wherehouse from what my guy said when he went down there. What would I have to do if I can get a group buy? What are the rules involved with doing that on this site?

Are you sure about the hatches??? I checked out the VIS website and there is nothing there. I have been looking for a long time for a hatch. Please let us know where you can get it from.

Alright ill let you know for sure whether they have them tommorrow when I get off work. I couldnt find my trunk anywhere either and I asked and they had it which I thought was weird. Worse case scenerio I can get the number for you if they have it and order through them cuz shipping is gonna be a b**** if I try and do a group buy, especially for you cuz your in Hawaii and you dont have the option of going ground you have to get 2 day or next day
