vacuum line?? (BOV)

Yeah I have my BOV running off the Brake booster line. Works great...although I still get some compressor surge if I drop the accelerator instead of backing off of it.

odd, i don't really hear any difference between the purple insert and the normal triple fin. i thought the purple fin was supposed to get rid of the high pitched whistle?

Unless I got the inserts confused, the purple insert is on the inside, the triple fin plastic piece is the same as any other SSQV.

it looks like this (this is the hks racing II bov, similar to the ssqv). the insert is supposed to eliminate the high pitched whistle, making it more of a woosh sound.

The guy that made my pipe is brian, I don't think he works down at the shop to often anymore but I called rev and they said for imports and any tuning with mazdas he is the man to talk too. plus its nice to have someone that has worked specifically with a msp before to work with yours.

yesterday I finally got that darn BOV tuned with no turkey, well except low boost but I heard all the ssq style BOV do that and it is pretty limited. Not bad though for having an injen intake.
