Vacuum Block

Where did you put your vibrant / other vacuum block? Does it bolt to the firewall or some other location? Wasn't sure if there was an optimal place to put it or no.

i have mine just chillling there. it's light enough, but you could prolly do an l bracket of some sort.

I have mine bolted.. it was a b**** but I got it on there.. against the firewall.

I zip tied mine to the fire wall. and it's on the brake booster line. Actually It's zip tied to hard tubing that is mounted to the fire wall

Mine just sits on top of the intake manifold under the VTCS/VICS solenoid bracket. Nice and snug and out of sight too. But I also didn't tap into the brake booster line..

i tapped the brake booster line and mounted the vac block to the intake manifold with a bracket.

i would recommend mounting it somehow, its best not to leave it held up by the vacuum lines. if its light its not the end of the world if its not secure, but taking preventative measures is always a good thing... especially with the protegay.

Maybe I'll get some industrial velcro and put it kinda out of site so it looks nice when I do my engine tuck.

just cut the line BEFORE the check valve as shown and attached a T so that you can run another vacuum line to it as shown. I believe the brake booster line is 3/8 but someone please confirm. You can feel for the check valve it is very hard. on mine you can actually see it since the brake booster line as compressed a bit around it.
