VA Tuners?

all aspects. ask for kienan.

dont ask him any stupid questions, or he will hang up lol

and this should be in the va region section.

EM? I dont speak internet modification abbreviation. I mainly just want to have options just in case the need arises. Sometime next year I plan on doing a full exhaust, intercooler, and a new inlet.

Im pretty sure I'll need some adjustments after that. s*** a dyno would be cool too.

Well I dont know what engine management system Im using. I thought the tuner does the dyno, reads your a/f ratio chart, and does adjustments there using their own tuning.. thing. I mean its pretty clear Ive never done it before so guide me along here.

noooo. you provide the em. when the dyno is done they can read the a/f boost etc. but we cant make any changes without some sort of device to make the changes. such an engine management/boost controller.

and everything that u have listed to do you shouldnt even need a tune. and should be able to install yourself.
-become friends with the local crowd, make sure not to get upset when we rag on u for being a noob and then we will most likely help u out with the install, as long as we at least get some beer out of it.

and also i know u said u wanted a fast response but make sure for now on to post in the appropriate sections.

thanks,

matt

Thats cool then Im not worried about it. Im not new to wrenching on cars so Im not worried about the installation. I have access to a garage with lifts and full sets of tools. Im just new when it comes to working with any kind of electronics, tuning, or engine management.

So you really dont think I'll need some kind of tuning after all that stuff? What about a boost controller? If I went to like, 18PSI, the car would be fine without a tune?

No you would not need em, the ecu in the ms3 actually changes and adapts to mods very nicely.

Personally I am not going to comment on the manual boost controller or mbc because I do not think they are safe (i know tons of people run them)...but from my experience I would stick with engine management. Its just not worth the risk.
