VA snow!! Wahoo

Just wishing everyone a safe travel period in this small but very welcome snow storm.
Remember slow is good, and prepare your stops way way in advance to keep from pushing on the brakes to hard. And don't turn the wheel to far.
Just got back from work and the P5 did it wonderfully, only got wobbly when I accidently shifted to first to soon and the nose came overloaded. Fun stuff.

Got to run a few red lights with a cop behind me to, but no one was coming this late and at a stand still the P5 can be little twisty to get going.

I made it to work today! The metro was running but with delays.. it took much longer and the trains were PACKED.

I tried at 5am to drive in. Couldn't get out of my parking spot. The plows didin't come by until after 9. Gonna go in tomorrow though. Gonna ride in with my dad.

I made it ok. i waited until about 9:30 before I left. 66, ffx parkway, 495, and 7 were all clean. I'll head home early though before the sleet and freezing rain get too bad.

"Very welcome snow storm"? What are you, nuts? Man alive, DC has been as cold as Moscow for the past week...

I got in okay, but it was a little dicey going up a curvy hill near my house (Sunrise Valley Dr. in Reston), especially passing some stopped cars. Keep a light touch on the pedals and pay attention out there (I learned my lesson the hard way last year).

At least the snow was nice and fluffy to shovel this morning....

My new wheels and tires (Kazera KZ-V 17's and Continental ContiExtreme Conatcts) made all the difference today. Glad I was able to get them ordered, delivered, and installed in time.

I didn't even bother trying to move my car this morning, I knew it would be a futile effort. I walked to the end of my street and caught a bus to the metro.

YAY FOR SNOW DAYS...I took the day off and lounged around the house till about 3pm and I got cabin fever. Went out to the Guitar Center at Baileys X-Roads and then tried to go find a tv to buy (my cat broke my tv!!!?!...anyone have any suggestions on what to get?)

try hitting up best buy in fair lakes and ask for diego he wont bs you about any tvs....and if you want a camera go to that section and my cousin might find you a deal or what not just look for a short monkey looking filipino named jonathan......or you KOOKOO like a bird it seems to work when cops show up and i want his attention to run...........watever tv you get esp like from BEST BUY pls oh pls always get the service plan or warranty or w/e its called
