upper window frame finish?

Anyone ever removed this tape finish on the upper window frames. The black tape finish is fading on mine . Anyone ever have to get this fixed?

there have been a few threads with pictures, try searching.
people have done it on titanium, blue, and yellow.......i think even orange.

Looks like s*** on yellow with tinted windows. It disrupts the whole look.

ya i jus took it off too. its painted and coated same as the rest of the car. if you decide to do it, make sure you have lots of time and patience. this tested my patience to like the 10th level. it takes about 30min per door w/ a heatgun/hairdryer and your fingers tips will hurt for days.
