upgraded navi maps? play dvd's?

i have a 07 gt with navi and i was wondering if i can upgrade my map. the map that is loaded is from 06 and it is out of date. also does anyone kow if you can play dvd's on the navi with a external port or something. thanks

I believe you can order new map discs through Mazda. Don't quote me on that, but I recalling hearing this somewhere.

I'm in the same boat with an 07 Navigation system. I did some searching and found this,https://www.mazdanavigation.com/store/item.aspx?ItemId=2&ModelId=25&Year=2007 unfortunately its dated 2008, costs $200, and is out of stock! Definitely more than I want to spend, I tried searching on ebay without much luck.

yeah i called mazda today and the guy told me to check this website also.
