unknown wire harness

well to start off hello im tab im new here just got my 5 thursday and im loving it all except the radio!! but i was looking under the two front cup holders under the e-brake and there is a wire harness that is just laying there not conected to anything does anyone know what its for? (help)

I was cleaing the cup holders and noticed 3 different male plugs there. Two are coming from the dash and one is coming from the rear seat area. From what I've seen so far in this car, it looks like they wired them all the same on the assembly line regardless of options.

Someone with a service manual might be able to shed some light.

Hey, maybe if you hook one of them up, a hidden NAV screen will pop out of the dash and a hidden sunroof will open

If you don't have heated seats, my guess is that the unused plug would go to the seat heater switch.

All the cars have the same wiring, regardless of accessories...... I don't have the "Fog" lamps, I've removed the covers and found the wiring is already in place....... just need the switch and the lights... The plug on the outside is plugged into a plastic clip on the "Fog" light cover........ I'll need to purchase the orig equip for the on/off switch...... anyone have "Fog" lamps and can give me the part number off their on/off switch on the dash?

Let us know how it goes. If it's not too difficult, I would love to be able to add factory fogs to my sport sometime in the future.
