Unichip Installed!! *update*

I installed the Unichip on my car last night! (Didn't do the EBC yet though.) I already notice a big difference in how the car drives the power is very fluid basicly feels like an NA car now.

Now here's the only problem I can't figure out the directions for the Boost Controler, does any have any pictures that might help me?? I have my damn stock air box in the way so that doesn't help either.

Also what's the difference between Map A and Map B? Which should I be using?

Thanks for the help and I'll let you guys know how it feels with the added boost.

***Update***
So I installed the boost controler and oh man what a difference!! I beat my friends WRX from 2nd 3rd and 4th gear rolls haven't tried from a stop yet... Obviously he'll get a lead on me there. He's getting his UP pipe and IC hoses soon so we'll see if I can still pull away then. I turn my boost back to stock and he was pulling away like nothing. I'm definitly impressed!! I still have my TBE and Injen to install, once that's done I'll get a dyno for you guys.

here you go rizzo. also, i stick with map a on hi boost and map b when the boost controller is off. A/B are timing maps. Map B is a little more aggressive timing. on hi boost, mine runs better on map a. if those instructions dont help, i will post later when i get home from work and explain it better.

just zoom in on picture # 11.

It's the hose on the right hand side in picture 11 that I'm having trouble with... is that the hose that goes to the hose that I removed from the bottom of the T fitting?

Is there anyway not to cut the big hose? I wanna be able to return it to stock if I have to?

Should I get colder spark plugs? Any kind that you guys recommend? Is it safe to boost at 12/10 until I get them?

The spark plug you listed isn't extended reach like the stock ones... Does that make a difference?

rizzo: When you say the car runs fluid, like a N/A car, do you mean you cant feel the boost kick in ?

Exactly.... With the small turbo's our cars have you shouldn't really feel the turbo kick in. It basicly gets rid of the hesitation. It really pulls around 4000 though. Seriously the best mod for the money. I'm getting an Injen and TBE soon so I think I'll probably be even happier with the car then.

can you still feel the hesitation somewhat then ?

It's completely gone right now... I haven't been able to hit full cut either.

wud this b hard fer a noob to install

No... It's really easy, I'm surprised at how easy it actually was. The instructions are written exactly for the MSP and very step by step. Take your time and you'll have it done in 2hrs max.

Rizzo: your completely stock with the UNICHIP right? Have you dyno'ed your car yet, or have any new 1/4mile times? Wondering how much horsepower gaines you'll get on a completely stock MSP, mostly because the UNICHIP is just a boost controller set to 10psi. And i've heard people say that you'll wont gain much by just boosting, unless you have an exhaust and intercooler upgrade.

FBI14: But you think that a stock MSP with the UNICHIP, can make towards 190hp in order to beat a WRX ??

horsepower numbers aren't everything, maybe he's a better driver..........subscribed as part of my unichip research
